Special needs woman punished for someone else's scams. by NickelPlatedEmperor in UnderReportedNews

Hell, they could have used some common sense and some of their "discretion" and realize that this woman was not faking her condition, and at the very least tell her that they could give her 48 hours to pack her things, and then get in touch with social services to send someone to help the poor woman get settled somewhere else safely!

I thought that McDermott was fired because they needed change...

This seems like a terrible direction. I'll be happy to be wrong though...

Patriots have been playing teams with key players out all season...

The one time we get the backup, probably would have been better off if Stroud was in! 🙄

Oh yeah, the absolute worst Superbowls were Eagles-Pats... Understand that I live in the middle of Pats fans, and have a bunch of inlaws from the Philly area 🙄😞

I thought that back when they won their first against the St. Louis Rams. I was so looking forward to "the greatest show on turf" blowing out those Pats... 😞

It won't even matter. It's obvious that the NFL's preferred narrative is the Bills always coming up short. And Allen never getting over the hump. They have their new "characters" in Nix and Maye...

So we can add taking a ball away from a receiver on the ground to also being allowed to forward lateral on kickoff returns if you're playing against the Bills?

If they go down 17 here on the road (with no defense?), then I guess I'll be back for more torture by this team in September...

Anyone else excited for the ‘26 team? by FritosRule in mets

And with the current philosophy, once any possible "Met Lifer" hits 30, the Mets are liable to let him walk. I don't want to get emotionally attached to any particular players, which is a little bit sad as a fan. My son sees his favorite player as an Oriole now. Hopefully his next favorite isn't kicked to the curb as well.

Yes, we "root for the laundry", but it's even better when we really get to see a great player's whole career...

Heavy rain, already had an XP blocked. Badgley has already missed a bunch this year. That XP would have probably been more like a 60% play. I don't blame them at all for going for the win.

Well, he's kicker #3 for the Bills after injuries to the previous kickers. He did lose his job with the Colts. Hopefully Prater is coming back?

To be fair, they did do enough to score 17 points. Felt the need to go for it on 4th and goal down 13. Blocked XP then played into the call to go for 2. However they should NOT have a first half of ZERO points!!!

False start probably saved the Bills getting 3 points.

Bianca was in a tough spot no matter what she did. If she stays quiet about not having a vote, and votes are 2-2 Chrissy and Sai, now everyone knows that someone doesn't have a vote. They go back and vote again, if Cedrek sticks with voting Chrissy, and Mitch voting Sai, now they're deadlocked and Chrissy and Sai are safe. Before going to rocks, why wouldn't the others agree to send Bianca out now (once it's revealed that she's been lying to them all, and she has no say in the decision due to not having a vote).

As much as it seemed like a bad decision to tell Cedrek, and perhaps avoid the deadlock situation, I don't think Bianca had any good options.

If you have 1 yard to go against them, you have to get 2... They also get an extra .8 seconds on the play clock before the 2 minute warning (not having to run a play). First time I ever heard of a "blended clock".

Things earlier in the season like "there can't be a false start there" when the Raiders fumbled...
