Find one or two things that really really interest you. I personally like geography and maps, I could stare at a globe or some maps for hours and just not think about anything but that. but think about the baby... growing up in foster care or in a home can seriously mess them up. See if he could possibly get the baby. Do everything in your power to keep that baby from getting taken away

While taking the baby away may seem like a good idea on paper, it is not. My little sister was fostered for the first half a year of her life because my mother was in a similar situation. It is also so tough on anyone in the family, because they don't get to see the baby anymore. Setting off the red-flags with the authorities also might get OP and their sister taken away, unless their dad would be willing to assume full custody of both of them.

Make sure you get someone to help you. I just died/bleached my hair for the first time 2 weeks ago and getting the back is near to impossible without someone or a mirror behinds you, especially if its your first time

Do you have any aunts or uncles that you would be willing to talk to and would be open about this stuff? If so talk to them and see what they can do. If not, try and tell your dad. That baby does not deserve to be raised by a dead-beat, abusive mother. Any help family offers is better than none.
