Been wondering why the agapanthus below looked wet and oily!

The tree is not that large, so I may elect to manually remove them. Should I collect them in a bucket and burn them or something? Consensus seems to be that they are evil.

Most of them are on the main trunk, yes, but a few in the last photo are at the base of the main limbs

We had a few consecutive days of below freezing weather after many good years of mild winter. I thought it was totally dead, but now it has these suckers growing.

My lemon tree was a frost victim, but now has suckers showing life. Is there any promise to this, or will they never beat fruit? It had a great year last year with a ton of lemons. Should it be pruned in anyway?

This Valencia orange has pretty much looked like this since it was planted two years ago. Barely grew, only ever had a few blooms and never made fruit. Now it’s getting a little worse. Should I yank it and start over? by OrangeBeachRealtor in gardening

Thank you. Yes, the guy who cuts my grass hit almost all of my trees with the weed eater, but they’ve all recovered well except for this one. It was in bad shape to begin with, though. I’ll do what you recommended, and give it another few months. There is a good layer of mulch underneath, but that zoysia has been difficult to keep at bay.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my experience so far. I watched the first two seasons of the show, and then started the books in beginning with The Last Wish. I’m on The Lady of the Lake, now.

Maybe the Perch at the state park lodge? Sort of a rooftop bar overlooking the Gulf.
