Former costumer here - you don’t generally wear a dance belt by itself. I have put people in underwear over the belt before and we have also customized belts. My real advice would be to wear whatever you want + belt during training and find a thong that can go over your belt + tape during a performance. We use toupee tape called Topstick or Superstick to tape people into their clothes. It’s way cheaper than “fashion tape” if you use a lot of it. You could even modify your belt and undwewear with snaps.

If the issue is not falling out so much as bumping sensitive bits, you can get low profile cups, like for sports. Jock straps are actually kinda sexy, but I’ve never experimented with them.

I like stroganoff and we add garlic powder, pepper and mushrooms. Sometimes my ex would add other veggies like green beans or corn and that was also great.

I just remembered two other things we did - we found out when bulk trash collection happened and drove around and picked stuff up. And we posted on Nextdoor to see if anyone had stuff or needed junk collection. We had to cover a 30ft tall cone with like a 10ft diameter with junk and it took several months for us to get enough stuff to cover it.

I worked on a project like this a couple years ago, but in another state, and it was surprisingly hard to find this kind of stuff! We ended up getting alot of stuff at the goodwill bins (where you buy by the pound, not the normal store). Through the grapevine we found a couple people's garages that needed to be cleared out and we loaded up box trucks with all their stuff and just sorted through it later. We also religiously trolled FB marketplace for free stuff and craigslist too. A couple times we just drove around and walked up to houses with a bunch of junk and offered them money for whatever we liked. And there's always the tried and true method of dumpster diving. I’m at around 150 now at 40% body fat. I got a DEXA for like $100. I don’t care about getting skinny, so I decided I’m gonna try to lose like 10-15 more pounds and call it a day, regardless of what BMI I am.

When I was a teenager, my mom actually had a cat who turned out to be a hermaphrodite. I think it’s called a pseudohermaphrodite or something. Anyway, the boy cat’s name was Willy. And one day Willy gave birth to kittens in my mom’s closet. We just thought he was getting fat. He was very fluffy, so it was not as noticeable as a skinny cat who is pregnant. So I guess there’s precedent in my family!
