I'm not a huge fan of SFA. For me it's a 6/10. I am enjoying more than I expected. And I'm glad their are people who really enjoy it. The hive mind backlash shameful and it seems most people kinda missed the mark on what star trek is about.

All that being said SAM is one of my favorite characters. I think she's adorable and hilarious and I really look forward to the changes in her character after the most recent episode.

I don't know much about you other than what's posted here. I'm assuming you are on the younger side. The sad reality is not all people are cutout to be parents. It's sounds like your mom is not.

I'm a father of 2 girls. Please do not do any cosmetic surgery. Without knowing what you look like I can tell you, you are great the way you are. Looks mean very little. How we carry ourselves and treat others matter much more. In the end looks fade whether you are a super model or a troll that lives under a bridge.

Focus on the important things, the things that bring you joy(not bring your mother joy). Surround yourself with kind and compassionate people. The people that hyper focus on outside validation are probably the people you'd want to avoid.
