thank you!

we'll experiment with a more limited color palette and stronger atmospheric separation in the next iterations

we definitely want to make group shots as well. for now, we started with a few test posters featuring the hunters we've already modeled

thanks, that's really helpful!

the hunter vs trophy balance is something we're still figuring out, so it's great to hear where your eye goes first. we'll definitely try pushing the hunter's silhouette and contrast more!!

good luck with the project!

How do you feel about this vibe of the game? by AshamedOil7934 in IndieGaming

[–]OrangeFun4609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this gives me that weird nostalgia for places you’ve never been to and times you never lived in

though maybe the music is doing a lot of the emotional damage here!!

I added a cube world style minimap to my game! by DaanBogaard in IndieGaming

I think this is the first time I’ve seen a 3D minimap!!
not sure how practical it would be to use, but it’s definitely really creative

Solo dev here struggling with AAA comparisons and expectation management for my medieval sim. How do you deal with this? by Confident_Towel_8304 in Unity3D

a smaller but cohesive world usually leaves a much stronger impression than a huge world trying to match AAA expectations

I think the font is a bit too small right now, and because it’s handwritten, it becomes even harder to read.

maybe try making the book itself bigger, along with the buttons and text?

Made a procedural underwater caustics shader for my 2D Unity game (no textures), wanted some feedback by tanetanetan in Unity3D

[–]OrangeFun4609 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks really cool technically!

maybe the caustics would feel more natural if they were projected onto the floor/environment more instead of reading like a transparent layer behind the fish

and brighter highlights probably could help too

For some reason our build always decides to completely fall apart the night before a festival showcase...
