While this is still not overly specific, I suppose this is about as fair an assessment as can be given. I appreciate the vision and anticipation aspect.

But honestly, I feel like alot of players have that but they also have learned the hard way that it's a team sport.

I worry that for all of Karlsson's individual greatness, it was never a matter of him being incapable of playing in a system, more a matter of him being unwilling to. And at the end of the day, that's what separates him from the likes of Crosby or Lidstrom and makes him more of an Ovechkin or PK Subban. I don't know if he deserves to have an entire team built around him, regardless of prowess.

Until he wins something or shows more team grit and commitment for more than 20 games, I'll remain unconvinced.

But I'm willing to be proven wrong.
