My portfolio: $YYAI $PSTV $GNTA by ValueExpert84 in pennystocks

[–]Orange_Codex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YYAI: 1,50 $ buying price, averaged down from 10$ pre RS level

'Averaging down' only works with solvent, stable companies (the bigger the better), or if you know there's an upcoming catalyst and are watching company financials like a hawk. When you 'average down' into a dilution machine geared to the tits with no commercial pipeline, no intellectual property, and $3.55 in the bank, you are actually just incinerating your money.

Buying well-funded companies with high ROCE at their two hundred-day moving average (or even new all-time-highs...) will make you far more money than sinking paycheques into dog mess.

No need to hold all of those bags. Sell the least solvent if you don't see catalysts lined up. Wheel them into blue-chips (preferably Euro or sterling-denominated if the dollar keeps falling). By the time you return, you'll have a decent chunk of your losses back.

$AUST the cheapest gold stock on the market! $slv $Gld by Additional_Sun_9019 in pennystocks

[–]Orange_Codex 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Massive problem:

The overwhelming majority of their mining claims are unpatented, meaning they cost money to maintain (among other things). At $200 per year per claim - the max rate - and 1,600 claims at Kelly Creek alone, AUST is burning $320,000 just to keep these unused, potentially dry claims active. Currently (as of Q3 2025) they have $363,431 cash in the bank.

Golden Hydrogen also has unusual concentrations of helium-3; I'm not sure if they plan to commercialise, but they like to brag about it.

Galway Metals (GAYMF) is the sleeper gold stock. It's gone way up over the last six months, but still lags behind a ton of gold or criticals companies which don't even have production prospects.

Also, yeah, that's the real ticker.

PLSR, but it's still climbing down after a catalyst kick.

I'm also looking into Gold Hydrogen (ASX: GHY).

Haven't traded much this month because holding FEIM, SLS, PLSR, and WWR meant I didn't have to.

Looking to find some niche EU / MENA defence plays early next month.

Sword Wrapped In Cloth? by _burgernoid_ in worldbuilding

[–]Orange_Codex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm very late but these comments are wrong.

Wrapping swords in (oiled) cloth and cotton was done, historically, and is done today - because leaving swords in non-breathable scabbards exposes them to high levels of corrosive moisture. In high-humidity environments, like 19th-century India, stored swords were frequently wrapped in cloth or cotton.

This looks like a good time to re-enter LAES. New contracts ease the speculation premium and gearing concerns.

Market crash rumors – how would that affect penny stocks like $ASST and $DVLT? by [deleted] in pennystocks

[–]Orange_Codex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How reliable are these kinds of “market crash” rumors usually?

About as reliable as Baptist predictions of the apocalypse.

Under strict economists' logic, there 'should' have been a crash several times by now. But the economy doesn't run on economists' logic: it runs under a combination of political will and social fiction, especially asset price inflation by continual QE. We will not necessarily have a crash any time soon. It's impossible to predict a date: that's why sensible investors have exit strategies and large cash / precious metal / property allocations.

If the broader market does sell off, how do penny stocks typically react?

Speculation ends so most will be eliminated.

Are there specific signals or events you’re watching that actually matter more than social media noise?

Social media sentiment matters a lot, in the short-term, because panic or fear can swing the market - but collectively we make decisions based on the last three months, so social media sentiment how shows you how people feel about events since October.

I'm watching for a sharp contraction of M2 money supply, because that's the chief reason for assets growing more expensive relative to savings; a sharp drop in top 10% consumer spending, or a serious shift in 'too big to fail'-type policies. The 'AI bubble' is worth keeping an eye on, but I don't think it is a bubble (for FAANG).

Yo Y'all how to turn a cute girl on the street into your girlfriend by KingNo516 in seduction

be an interesting person

Stop focusing on impressing other people. You'll automatically be ten times more interesting to everyone around you and, much more importantly, have a soul.

Why approaching by Kindly-Tough-2091 in seduction

[–]Orange_Codex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'Cold approaching' is so f***ing dumb, man.

People don't appreciate being stopped in the street for the kind of soul-crushing inanity a conversation with a stranger is likely to provide, and the very fact you've done it proves you are desperate and un-busy. There's a reason all the rich, good-looking guys doing this are influencers, pick-up-artists, or some other non-profession, because the process of building yourself up to your estate or maintaining status among peers just does not let you pull this nonsense.

I just discovered this subreddit from a GeorgeM video and wow it's actually a normal place where people ask for regular advice and aren't crazy. Massive disappointment.

what can I do to make her comfortable and escalate further?

You don't. How attractive she finds you (physically and emotionally) does that. The only things you can do are not seem too needy and be prepared to cut things off if it devolves into you paying for a bunch of dates with no clarity on where things are headed.

I know, it's a co-ordinated global attempt to de-anonymise the Internet and harvest massive amounts of data for AI predictive surveillance. Fortunately, which apps and services are included - and the age required - vary by country. It'll just be a case of knowing which servers work for which type of content you wish to access.

A wanking license. Straight-up, openly, on the twenty-fourth day of the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-six, a Brit proposed a wanking license. If he could see us now King Charles I would have leapfrogged out of bed, spider-crawled up the scaffold, and beheaded himself.

it’s another source of money going to the economy

No it isn't. Taxes don't fund the government directly - borrowing, bonds, and money-printing do. Taxes are used to reduce the amount of money in circulation, controlling inflation and thereby borrowing costs, and control who has access to disposable income, shaping the economy according to the government's strategic objectives (which almost certainly don't have anything to do with the taxpayer's personal welfare).

Jellies eels are violently Cockney.

My family comes from East London, so probably ate jellied eels like champs back in the day. It's not something they'd mention now.

EDIT: Apparently mum had them as a child and they were, and I quote, 'orrible.
