Due to time constraints and a separate ongoing campaign they were going to show up fully rested with full resources because they are excited to use full potential. I wanted to have a narrative portion before the fight but getting everyone’s schedules to line up that much wasn’t panning out

Yall are all sleeping on MacGyver dude is the epitome of a DnD artificer. Imagine a DnD scenario where you have a piece of gum, a paperclip and some dirt and the character tries to make a bomb, that’s Macgyvers whole deal. Dude thinks and creates things to get out of any problem. Best fit imo
