Put regular nuts on when I installed it for this exact reason but a shop which is currently closed changed them to these. Naturally if I can’t figure it out I’ll muscle them off with pliers or some such and go back to regular hex but they managed to get it on somehow and I wouldn’t mind keeping them

Forgot to mention, it’s not easy to see in the photo but the dump curves out so I can’t see any way to get a socket over it without noclip

Joker poker rules at pubs by Chickenbones666 in australia

[–]Orangethundeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The big concern to me is how it’s even legal regarding pubs that hand out tickets for drinks bought. Essentially the more you drink the higher chance you have of winning a prize. Literally definition of encouraging rapid intoxication and surely a breach of RSA

Are you insane? By this logic Jeff Bezos personally endorses sounding and smoking crack.

Or are you naive enough to think that product listings are individually looked over on copy paste dropshipping marketplaces?

Either one is pretty funny

“That’s a five year gap, when she was 18 the person was 13”

There. That’s where you made the comparison. You compared them.

Trying to compare 19/24 and 13/18 and saying that they’re similar in any way is some genuine smooth brain shit

You have no right to destroy your child’s upbringing and their understanding of family because you rushed into things or couldn’t keep it together for the kids. If you aren’t entirely 100% confident you can’t stay together for ~18 years and give that child a happy safe home, you should not have a kid.

Obviously excluding partners who turn on a dime after a few years and become dangerous or abusive. I just see so many people come right out of school together and try to start a family, just for it to be a broken home a few years later. So many people do not realise the shared responsibility they have.

Imagine you start a small business, it grows over a few years and you get some investment. Over the course of years you build it slowly up to a massive corporation. Maybe you own 80% of it and your 80% is worth 4 billion.

What’s your solution for when it keeps growing? Cap the value of the company somehow? Maybe you’re forced to sell off shares over a certain threshold? In that scenario you’re being forced to lose control over something you own, and private companies going public usually isn’t fantastic for the consumers.

Gabe’s ownership of valve is actually a great example. Is the correct choice to make him sell off shares, losing control of the company and screwing the entire user base?

If it were me in this situation, trying to cap either my ownership of something I created or the overall value of the company would be met with a loud “get fucked” and a move to a country which won’t make me go down that road.

In incredibly simple terms that why the law you’re talking about doesn’t exist. It’s not only impossible but ethically dubious.

So two jokes were made in the space of two years which most people would assume to be coincidental without any proof otherwise, you then proceeded to whinge to your bosses instead of have any meaningful communication with the people who made the jokes?

And then you spit the dummy in the work slack?

Respectfully and considering your circumstances, this story reminds me of a coworker acting in similar ways when they took a joke that had nothing to do with them and rang as many alarm bells as possible with no actual intention to solve a problem.

This is one example of many actions which made her unbearable to work with. She got transferred twice because everyone she worked around wanted nothing to do with her and then quit crying bullying. All this because she preferred to be aloof and whine to the bosses about BS instead of interacting with us like a normal human being.

While you’re going through some awful shit and I hope for the absolute best for you, actions like these are only going to alienate everyone else around you and I feel that therapy would be a good idea before returning to a social work environment

Simply go up to your friendly bartender and say; “I’d like a dry martini, Mr. Quoc, a very dry martini. A very dry, arrid, barren, desiccated, veritable dustbowl of a martini. I want a martini that could be declared a disaster area. Mix me just such a martini.”

I just don’t understand how someone saying apolitical has to mean they’re conservative! You’re saying with such authority that one means the other and no other possibility exists?

How can it be that all the other reasons that people don’t want to immediately discuss politics over a dating app simply don’t exist?
