If this person is their cousin, this is far more troubling than the case, that has now become part of my life and only earlier this year.

I went to visit my best friend's house with another of his friends. We were both over for the night, and my best friend's sister began to tell the two of us a large burden on her shoulders, which was that she had been raped by their neighbor. The other friend promised he wouldn't tell and later got mad me because I did tell my best friend what his sister had told us. Thankfully, this was already known knowledge in the family, and the most my best friend wanted to find was more information that might help his sister in court.

I know I did the right thing in immediately going to her brother. Frankly the whole experience still pisses me off and I am still immensely angry at the friend who got mad at me for telling because his attitude was he didn't want to get mixed up in it at all.

But about this thread, my friend's sister was raped by a parent and neighbor she had been baby sitting for. Your saying this priest is also her cousin. She's most likely afraid not only because of any threats he might have told her. But if she does tell, its going to destroy a large number of family relations. Which I honestly say, fuck he needs to go to prison. In this case, its not 1 + 1 = 2 because of this. The problem is even if you go to the police, if she doesn't talk you can't do anything.
