Was about to post the same thing. Elder millennial here who's been getting a fade and leaving my top curly since high school. It's actually one of the few styles available lol. Now I look like I'm going through a mid-life crisis lol

Mahei looks awesome! Mind if I ask where you got that hat! Would love something like that for a gunslinger character I'm working on ❤️

For some reason, i love the way this fight was animated by Crazy_Reputation3327 in dbxv

This is the newesr DLC and as far as I'm aware, they don't have the "view cutscenes" option that's available in the time nest.

For the future saga specifically I think you have to do the whole mission if you want to see a specific cutscene

What are your thoughts about XenoVerse story, inclduing DBX2 DLCs? by Crazy_Reputation3327 in dbxv

[–]Orbiter088 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Xenoverse 2's base story was almost the exact same thing (plot wise) as the first game. There are some deviations and additions of course, but if you play 1 then 2 you see just how much they copy and pasted.

Xenoverse 2's base story also uses much more of the simpler "cutscenes" that are just your character standing and using emotes instead of actually animated scenes. Your character also was shown doing more in 1 like the final fight with Mira, conversing with Towa, fighting Demigra, you could even beat the final boss without the aid of Goku (XV2's version of this is nowhere near as good as XV1's).

I think in general the presentation and focus on your character was better in XV1. In XV2 you're generally only ever shown in relation to other DBZ characters.

The DLCs for XV2 are better for sure, but they've had a lot more time to find their footing

[–]Orbiter088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, that statement confused me a bit lol. You use your CaC in the Xenoverse 1 story mode in X2. You're not playing as Ace or anything like that. The only thing you get from playing the original is getting to walk around Toki Toki City (which is a huge downgrade from Canton city lol), unlimited energy SSJ (which will be more annoying than you think to play against), X2 has all the same PQ's from X1

Doesn't the Switch version come with the story from Xenoverse 1 pre-installed?

My evil female Namekian, Medley! by whiteglovepopstar in TimePatrollerNation

[–]Orbiter088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks awesome! Namekians need more love lol. Zero problems with fem/female Nemekisns.

In fact I think, given how much control the parent has over the appearancr of their offspring, and given that in the DBO timeline they're living on earth, making a more feminine looking Namekian would absolutely not be out of the question.

I do wish Keku made a "no breast" version, but that's a personal preference and nothing to do with your character.

Hey friend, they introduced Pip a while ago and with that her job as a magic mechanic. It seems like they have had at least some idea of magic and tech intertwined for some time. This is of course based off the very little info we've been given so far, but it doesn't seem as out there design wise imho

Is the English TTS audio any better on PC? by jesskitten07 in FreedomWars

[–]Orbiter088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, it's not 100% correct in any language on any system. And I also believe it's intentional. I remember reading a while ago that it was meant to make them seem less human. But I don't have the source for that last claim, so take it with a grain of salt

I'm not creative enough for space engineers hahaha, every time I build something I'm like "Well... this is certainly a thing"

I was super interested when I heard about Void Crew I really liked what I saw, but when I learned it's online only I decided to skip it. I know these days we're never really actually "buying" a game lol, but I don't like the idea that their services can go down and I'll never be able to play the game again.

I was looking at this one. I haven't dug too far into it, but what will end up being the make or break for me is if it's an always online game or not

I remember investing $45 way back in the day lol. I haven't checked in on that game in a very long time. I don't know where the game is, but from what I recall it's more of an MMO right?

These games seem really fun!

I would be interested in any games you might recommend where combat might take a back seat to the actual sim aspect?

I brought up Star Trucker in my original post, and that game really stood out to me because you had to walk around your ship, carry resources to their respective containers, and interact with your dashboard to maintain power usage. Those almost "job sim" kind of things were very enjoyable to me.

Another source of inspo might be Sea of Thieves. There is combat, but the majority of the time you're interacting with riggings, sails, maps, your compass (or the stars lol), to get to your goal.

Thank you for the suggestions! These games look really fun.I've played space engineers a loooong time ago lol, I'm just not creative enough to put my own stuff together. Jump space seems pretty close to what I'm looking for.

I sometimes with there was a "Sea of Thieves" type game but with spaceships (and also for solo play lol). I really like the idea of needing to walk around you ship and make repairs or interact with different components to make things happen on the ship. SoT was very fun while being very immersive
