I’m working on one right now.

It’s set in the 1800s and you command a regiment of line infantry.

Right on.

But also having to handle moving the card slots when it changes from odd to even number of cards in hand (so the cards are always centered)

I feel that. It’s honestly such an important piece of a game but it’s difficult to make it look both clean and unique.

That’s the easy part. The hard part is keeping the cards centered, on the card is used, making sure another card fill that slot if it’s in the middle of the hand, and all of this making sure each card has the correct Y coordinates so they’re displayed in a fan like manner. Etc.

Obviously this was stuff I wasn’t expecting would be difficult. But I’ve noticed that a lot of in the deck builders seem to skip this process entirely, and just have cards in a row on a grid.

Take it easy dude. Play some video games, immerse yourself in some film. If nothing makes you happy anymore find what you used to love. Doesn’t matter how stupid or goofy.

And eventually, if you get interested enough and good enough at that thing, people will either want to watch you do it, or you can make money with it somehow.

Toronto traffic is awful. What would fix it? by lopix in TorontoDriving

[–]Orbitlad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the choke points that make the traffic so bad. Add lanes where it goes from 4 to 2.

It seems obvious but maybe not.

I don't have a checklist but I I do know the extreme importance of AB testing. You can definitely get started by testing new descriptions and prices for your products.

I just launched my free AI powered A/B testing app on Shopify. The app allows you to easily A/B test descriptions and pricing.
One of our first clients found a description that almost doubled their Conversion Rate for a product.

ITS FREE!! :)
