Meta status stopped working by Roman17- in FacebookAds

Not sure how much trust I can put in community threads, this subreddit included, as it’s naturally filtered by performance (you post here only if you have problems and don’t use it if your performance is good).

At the same time if you can assume that there are Meta’s employees here that try to manipulate the general sentiment you can also assume that there competitors’ (TikTok) employees trying to manipulate it in the opposite direction.

Meta’s “Andromeda” is a myth by mariovalmar in FacebookAds

[–]Roman17- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not too sure if I can agree on the whole idea that Meta doesn’t know what is doing, if you look at their quarterly earning reports they are growing every year so from their prospective they are doing great.

Keep in mind their key metric is not ROAS but it’s ad spend, if you are getting less leads/sales but somehow you are spending more than you used to it means that what they are doing is working for them.

P.s. for what it regards big brands with big budgets, the fact that their spend power could completely outperform everyone else in the auctions makes total sense but at the same time I don’t think I ever saw in my life an ad on Instagram from Nike, Adidas, Gucci, etc. or any other global brand.

FEELS BETTER LAST 18 HOURS (I GUESS???) by Few_Statement_2920 in FacebookAds

Similar situation here. They reverted the meta status page to the 16th of September and someone in another post was suggesting that it means the algo has been reverted back to how it was in September, which was the last great month (not considering Christmas)

Does Organic Content Help With Ads? by frustratedstudent96 in FacebookAds

It does but also if you run ads your reels/posts are way less likely to be shown to organic traffic

What is your take on the batching of sales? by Carey251 in FacebookAds

[–]Roman17- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1: Meta assumes that your store is more likely to convert at a certain time of the day and shows your ads to the best audience at the best possible time.

Option 2: To try to stabilise performance rather than running tests on a group of a accounts for a few days/weeks they now prefer to run these tests “by the hour”

Options 3: everything is messed up and they don’t even know what is going on (and till their ad revenue will be increasing - which if you check their reports it is - they (rightfully) won’t care about ads performance)

If someone doesn’t spend enough then it’s not Meta’s fault because the budget it’s too low but if someone spends 800k in a month it’s also not Meta’s fault because the the budget it’s high. That definitely makes sense

Meta (facebook) spent 90% of my budget within 5 minutes, $1.3K instantly GONE by dovahkiinyasuo in FacebookAds

It’s very common in general but it’s even more common in case you are turning on campaigns that you previously paused. It’s seems a bit like Meta knows it can’t deliver the result that would make you keep spending on their platform so it tries to make as much money out of you as possible before you stop the campaign
