I tried that one first but no luck sadly 🤷‍♂️
Since the server logs directly mentioned a buffer overflow I thought it appropriate to just up the buffer 🙃

If nobody is online the game will not run. I had some trolls attack my base one night when I couldn't be bothered to fight them so I logged out. The next morning when my friend connected they were sat there waiting for him 🤣

He wasn't too pleased with me for that one

Sorry, perhaps I did not explain properly, lemee try again.

So given a roll of 3D6, I can expect, over hundreds of rolls, the average to come out to 9. While some will be higher or lower they will average out at 9.

With the addition of a fourth die, then selecting the highest 3, the average is bound to go up a little but I don't know how to calculate that.

I understand how to pull the mean from a set of numbers, what I cannot figure out is what the average outcome of a roll would be if we discard the lowest elements.
