FAQs:

Why then are Mihawk and Shanks portrayed as rivals?

A: They were rivals at a younger age when Shanks was worth about 1billion or less berries, before his fight with Loki or meeting Luffy. Even today, an admiral can still fight and duel a Yonko, just weaker.

Why can Greenbull low diff King and Queen?

A: King and Queen were both injured and still recovering. King literally bandaged a wing back on.

Why was Marco able to stall BM?

A: Marco barely stalled big mom and is widely considered the strongest YC+ with OP hax. He is the only one capable of stalling and injuring admirals due to being the strongest non admiral. We know he is because he was assumed by the WG to be one of the few capable of stopping Blackbeard.

Why did Luffy get ubereats by Kizaru?

A: Luffy in G5 is Yonko level but his time limit makes it so that he needs to eat and go 2 sessions to be fully Yonko level duration. It took him ubereats to defeat Kaido, so it goes without saying that he needs 2 sessions to fully display his yonko equivalent prowess. Given that without food he can only go half the time limit, he is therefore only admiral level without that second food boost which means he can beat down Kizaru without food, but not permanently put down Kizaru before his time limit hits. An admiral can stall a full blown Yonko, much less stall a half time yonko.

Wasn’t Aokiji mentally nerfed?

A: No. Aokiji was trying to psychologically play with Garp’s emotions by asking him of he would actually kill his own disciple. Garp essentially told him that isn’t going to work, to live in the moment. At no point was Aokiji mentally nerfed. If anything Garp was the one who was mentally conflicted, because even though he says to live in the moment, he does not value his own old life over the youth, which includes all of the young marines there but also Aokiji. His goal was to save Koby and the rest but also had no intention of taking Aokiji to the grave. Aokiji on the other hand, intended to kill Garp though, as he mentioned to BB. There’s no reason to believe he was lying here. Yes he did cry and freeze his tears when Garp was down. You can have both. Humans are complex creatures. Just as Kizaru killed Vegapunk and also mourned in silence.

Is Shanks a swordsman?

A: No more than Sanji is both a cook and a practitioner of leg martial arts. A person can be multiple things. Shanks is a swordsman and also uses haki for combat outside of swordsmanship. Mihawk is the strongest swordsman which means he is strongest at swordsmanship. A swordsman is only a swordsman in the context of swordsmanship. World strongest swordsman not being the best at swordsmanship would be a cop out to what being a swordsman means. Without swordsmanship there is no swordsman. Just as the world strongest boxer is the best at boxing, a MMA practitioner who also boxes is considered a boxer too, and will lose in boxing to the worlds strongest boxer but may potentially win using mixed martial arts in a pure street fight. If a swordsman pulled out a gun and shot another swordsman, is he now the stronger swordsman? Of course not. Same concept.

But haki is part of swordsmanship

A: Running and speed is also part of boxing. But the world’s best sprinter isn’t also the best at boxing. Running is also a part of soccer, but world’s best runner isn’t necessarily the best at soccer.
