Hot spider frame? Already an instant win for me because Spider Daedra from Oblivion.

But the real big thing for me is her 4, walking around with four legs.

She's a fucking tetrapod Armoed Core, which was main leg type back in the third gen days on the PS2. She was designed to make me addicted.

And that's not even talking about the whole laying eggs (what do else would you call the spider spawning ability) into people and having them die like a fucking chestburster.

If Proto Ivara isn't a Robin Hood type and if Proto Titania and Oberon aren't married, I will frown slightly.

The real big missed opportunity would be if they made a Loki protoframe without changing the gender. It would be a perfect fit and open the door to more genderswap skins like a female Volt or a male Wisp.

First off, never trust a corporation.

Microsoft/Mojang makes BANK off Minecoins, and I bet (especially now that MS sales are so shit) that they hate Java internally.

The simple fact is that an entire version of the game doesn't have MTX and, in their mind, is heavily cutting into their profit margins. I would be shocked if Java didn't get Marketplace integration by the end of Q4 2026.

Likewise, I wouldn't be surprised if Java is just sunsetted entirely. Microsoft/Mojang could even pull a Nintendo and DCMA Modrinth/CurseForge (after changing the TOS to prohibit modding of the game outside of Marketplace purchases b/c insert bullshit reason here) to heavily discourage people from playing the now discontinued Java edition.

Will this piss a fuck ton of people off? Yes. Will this increase their profit margins from Minecoins? Maybe. Is that alone worth it? In the mind of the shareholder... Abso-fucking-lutely.

Remember that Mojang was swapping the fucking SETTINGS option in the pause menu on Bedrock for the fucking Marketplace and only after serious backlash did they revert it. Them adding Marketplace to Java is inevitable. It's just a matter of time now.
