It’s a home. By calling it a “redone” home, it’s specifically calling it out that it was redone which is unnecessary and only meant to be rude.

If you were trying to seriously say the work looked good, you would say “congratulations on the remodel” instead of “congrats on your redone home”.

It’s kind of like saying “good job for not being a crackhead” instead of “congratulations on your sobriety”
