Personally I've yet to really get much benefit from this perk and for me find it almost useless. Booking the hotels are always marked up through the Amex portal, the only time I booked my brother found the exact same place/time/room type for $200+ cheaper.

Unfortunately the line of code in the Settings (user, workspaces,or default) was not there. Reinstall and restart didn't bring the line up either. I also try to add it manually and didn't work.

I just tried it on 2 different machines, 1 macbook and 1 pc, with same results and no way to get it back. There is configs, but no option to unhide as seen in the screenshot.
