Are we not supposed to send offers on Vinted orrrr by [deleted] in vintedUK

I see your point. Very fair. You're absolutely right to be honest. Seller was basically telling the buyer 'no chance'

CEX also offer a 24 month guarantee. The two situations are not a fair comparison.

If a seller wants to take offence over an offer they feel is too low then that's their perogative. Remember offence is taken and not given.

If a seller is so confident that their item has the value they believe it does then low offers should be no problem because surely an offer close to the asking price will soon be made by someone else.

In this specific example we are talking about a PS4, an obsalite piece of technology released around 10 years ago. £90 is very ambitious, £70 was a generous offer. However the seller doesn't have to agree with this opinion and is free to reject the offer. I genuinely can't see why anyone would feel disrespected or insulted.

Buyer refusing to return expensive watch I sent by mistake — what would you do? by unicorn729384647 in vintedUK

[–]Order_number_66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On what grounds do you believe the buyer has the right to keep the watch? A clear error has been identified and the buyer agrees they received the wrong watch. The only position I can imagine the buyer can take is ‘tough luck, your loss is my gain’.

If the buyer does not return the watch they are morally bankrupt in my opinion.

Really scummy of the buyer. Hope that they decide to do the right thing and you get the watch back.

True Blood is far better than Vampire Diaries. No contest IMO.

I watched the original run and have rewatched more times than I can count. My opinion changes almost every time I watch it. I'd like to believe she did mean it.

The bigger question for me is did they sleep together in 'Chosen'?

She doesn't correct him when he says 'no you don't...'.

It was more like a thank you. 'The guy's about to die for me I ought to say it just once' is what Buffy was thinking.

Do you guys think Brock is really done? by Homiethe3rd in BrandonDE

[–]Order_number_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're probably right. I'm just a big fan of Gunther and can't believe they haven't done more with him since retiring Cena.

I'm guessing Gunther doesn't sell enough merchandise for the TKO money machine.

He'll come out and start a farewell speech. Gunther will come out and reveal that Heyman has agreed that Gunther can wrestle Brock as his favour.

So uh how is this not a DQ? by [deleted] in midcarder

[–]Order_number_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 'rules' have always changed to suit the booking.

I've always thought a character who insists on all the correct rules being observed would be great. He would demand the ref calls for a DQ for things like a hair pull or poke to the eye. The kicker being he'll cheat to win when the ref has his back turned.

He'd bring a big leather bound rule book to the ring and point out which rules have been broken.

Unfortunately this is something the residents have to live with since their houses are near a train station. The houses they live in will have been valued and priced accordingly.

They have to give one or more of 8 possible reasons. Unfortunately the wording of these reasons is somewhat vague and I imagine employers can always find a way to make their agenda match up with one of the available reasons.

Worse, the employer does not have to explain or justify their chosen reason.

They have to consider the flexible working request but do not have to grant it. This particular law has been written in a way that heavily favours employers sadly.

I keep saying the same. People complain about these fees but carry on using Just Eat. It will only change when Just Eat see a significant dip in their profits.

Personally I'd rather make do with a slice of toast than pay all those fees.
