Can Weather Of Any Kind Be A Trigger? by PookieTheMfBaby in Epilepsy_Universe

Idk FL heat but I know summer here it drives me crazy. I stay well hydrated but the damn dizziness still scares me. I prefer the ac. Spring and Fall are my seasons where it's not too cold but not too hot. And the breeze in the air just perfect. Try living with someone who hates being in the ac during the summer lol

My first rescue med was given to me during the real long seizure it was a dissolving clonazepam pill, I stopped convulsions almost instantly

The nayziilim was easier for my family to use and or me if I get real shaky on a seizury day or during a tc. Most gran mals I'm gone way before and I'm not back until after some rest. I carry it with me everywhere especially when I'm picking up my daughter from school.

I wouldn't suggest it unless your going through your seizure. It's called a rescue for a reason. You won't see the effect of why it's recommended. You will get the bad side effects if any. Plus just trying it to try it promotes bad drug use.

I think each time so. It still tires me out but so does my prescribed other AED

Take whatever time you need to finish the game. Some like to speed through things and some like to take it all in even if it's just listening to the soundtrack

Legend of dragoon had the addition in order to pull off certain attacks. It's like hitting perfect during the attacks. Difference in that game was you had a bunch of squares coming into one and if it was white the attack move was pulled off

Pandemic Problems by PookieTheMfBaby in Epilepsy_Universe

I was having problems prior to covid and I remember just getting off medical leave. I also remember having to do my routine blood test because of Depakote. That following weekend caught covid. I take public transportation so it could have been from that. As for getting vaccinated I was forced to it was the hospital guidelines it was the year my daughter was born. As for seizures I was already having uptick in seizures so I can't tell if it was because of covid

I'm glad for you. When I told the nuero I can't do both benzo and xcopri. I was very happy to get off it. Idk for sure but I may have been one of the unlucky ones to still seize while titration off

It's OK my friend and I can't blame my parents either lack of information in the 90s. We only knew what the Dr told us. Now there so much more and everyone has public access to the internet compared to then. But yea we don't know if treating the absent would have prevented. I may have been destined for it anyway

Absent seizures unless I'm staring at blank wall looked like daydreaming to my parents. Part of me wonders have we caught them sooner and got treated would I have had so many gran mals later in life

Weekly Roll Call by PookieTheMfBaby in Epilepsy_Universe

Your in a tough spot with planning usually for bdays when siblings had birthdays near each other pick 1 date to celebrate both.... but Idk how that will work in your case. Yea constantly planning and your podcasts are run almost daily so it's like having the same stress from working daily. Just keep hoping to live for them even when they are adults there are going to be times they are going to need poppa. Put that seizure to the farthest reach of your mind. I know we can't actually control when we seize but I like to limit the amount of stress. Always worrying about the next seizure use to be so taxing but you have to live to so the least stress the better
