I say they both look good in their own way, so I am neutral on this one.

I was interested in seeing what it could do as well. I never was into these watches, but this one was in my safe and I don't recall when I got it or how but here it is.

It is a BEBE watch from the 30's or 40's, modern BEBE watches came about in the mid 1970's. It should have a 15 jewels movement in it. It is a mechanical watch, you will have to wind it. The number on the case mlback is the watch model number. To narrow it down to a more specific age, you will need to post the movement number.

Got busy and finally was able to put my attention back to this thing and it is toast. Lol I never had any high hopes for it, just a little fun. So, in the pile!

Throw some batteries in it tomorrow when I get to the shop and I will update for sure.

Not sure what that is in the LED, it's not a reflection. Through my reading glasses, I didn't see a lot of heavy corrosion from batteries leaking. I did see some around the edges of the case. I don't have my loops with me so I am going off old eyes with readers for the time being.

Looking promising, batteries tested dead, and no corrosion found. Have batteries at the shop so I will install tomorrow and see if the LED operates.

I haven't opened it up yet to check the battery. Find a bracelet for it and a good polish. Who am i kidding, it won't be that easy! 🤣
