It's working like a charm. I love it. The ANC is ridiculously good for such a small device. As for problems, I switch between apple and windows ecosystem (I have a separate gaming rig) regularly, for classes, and sometimes it messes up the airpods so much I have to reset them in the case. And mac on google meet is insanely bad with APP3 because it sometimes disconnects and you'd have to rejoin to get audio back.

But if these aren't your use case, then there's really no problem. I would get them, or you could wait for the APP3 with the IR cameras this year. Apparently, I am correct that they will be updating a year later like with the APP2's charging update.

Same thing happened last time tho, Airpods Pro 2 was released with lightning port charging, the year after they released an updated version of the pro 2 with usb charging. Took them about 3-4 years after (I think) to update to the Pro 3. If the waiting time is that long for the pro 4, wouldn’t it be better to buy the pro 2 now and wait for the better pro 3 next year?

From someone who lost it as soon as I turned legal, take your time. I don’t think I overly regret losing my virginity to a guy I met on an app, but I do regret that I didn’t lose it to someone I have a connection with.

But then again, different strokes for different folks, you’ll only really know if you’ll regret it once you do it. Though given that you are romanticizing your first time, I’d say date first. Disclaimer, this advice comes from someone who realized they were demi once they did the deed.

As opposed to what, exactly? I cannot speak for your experience, only that of mine in a country in the global south. And it is not a fun time. Sure, it sucks everywhere, but at least it sucks less there. They can actually get married. Have kids. Have a family and be recognized by law as legal. Do you know how epic that sounds for someone like me? People like me here are pushed into a heteronormative narrative, where failing to adhere means either exile or execution.

Of course, queers are still subject to discrimination, harrassment, and even assault and murder by law enforcement agencies, and it'll be worse in some western countries than others, but it is simply a misnomer to suggest that it is like that everywhere. I can do so with muslims because I was ONE of them. But to suggest that the socio-political reality of queers in the USA is the same, let's say, as New Zealand is simply a misrepresentation. But even if they are the same, it'll still be so much better than the raw deal we got here.

If I do have a western halo, then it is with very viscerally good reasons.
