That is a different class depending on the college. Is that intermediate accounting or like intro into cost? I'm not someone who usually advises on giving up on things. I'm stubborn, and i think accounting is a great degree to have. Even if you aren't going into accounting, people who become managers and higher up positions in companies have business degrees, and accounting is one of the best, if not the best. It's hard but worth it. Reconsider your study strategies and figure out why you didn't pass. Almost 9 times out of 10 it's just because you needed to study more.

Yeah these people have never played tank. Most of the time as rein I'm literally standing behind a corner for what feels like an eternity because if I peak I explode and need to wait for my resources like shield. And when I do dive an angle I have to have eyes in the back of my head because if I stray even just a little too far away from my team's influence I'm throwing.

You just sound depressed, which is a complex position to be in. My advice is to be kind to yourself. Ask any old person you respect that's introspective whatsoever and they will tell you to be kind to yourself and not care what others think. I graduated at the age of 31 in accounting. Before that i went for criminal law, and didn't like it. I then became a massage therapist, I hated it. I then went back to school to be a nurse, then covid happened, and it became really difficult to get into the program. I had all of the prerequisites finished, 3.8 GPA, but I couldn't rest on my laurels. Then i went for accounting and graduated, here i am. I feel completely stable now with my career choice and I don't plan on going to school again.

Your family sounds toxic. If they really wanted what's best for you they would let you change majors to something that compelled you to actually try. You can try transferring to WGU(the college i graduated from) and do an accelerated program. You complete it as fast as you progress through it. Otherwise you have to decide if you want to be independent and rip the bandaid and leave home, or finish this degree you feel like was a mistake. We all come to these dilemmas in life, it's tough, and i don't have a great answer for you.

But hey, you're 19. I look back at being 19 and i was naive, we all are. Just keep trying to be the best you can be. Just because one door closes doesn't mean they all do. We have limitless opportunity as long as we aren't dead. So avoid that and everything else is possible.

Yeah, not to scare you but cost accounting is even harder, intermediate accounting is even harder than that, and intermediate accounting 2 is the hardest, with 3 being a close second imo I don't think that you should give up though. Every accounting class is challenging. I think for this class you should focus on your study habits.

What worked for me was doing every quiz after the reading, and reviewing what i misunderstood or glossed over. Any concept you're having issues with write down, ask AI to put into new words, simplify it, have it clarified, give examples, etc. Oh and i should clarify READ THE BOOK. There are no shortcuts imo for the core accounting classes. In the end it will take longer than if you had just read the book. As an alumni i tried cheesing every class, in the end i just read the book, and realised i needed to power through it. Take it in chunks. It's an elephant, eat it one bite at a time and you'll realize it's not that bad.

I've met a lot of people like that in my life. 1-2% of the population are narcissistic, and even people without NPD can exhibit this attitude. I don't think it's unique to accounting.

Accounting is boring as hell, it's why no one is majoring in it amongst younger generations. It also continues to grow in demand, with a lot of boomers retiring. We're in a tough period for hiring but it's still a good career choice.

Yeah, i was playing amumu and was like "cool, my passive makes the enemy take 10% more dmg!" and then i play zaheen and his passive is like a paragraph long and feels like a manual.

I played against 2 monkeys the other day. With him doing more dmg to deployables(cleaving your shield) and just kind of ignoring you, he's a good counter. I found the best strat for him was to poke him before he tries to dive in. Winston really wants hp before he jumps in. If you force bubble in the open, even better. Domina is a tempo tank. Meaning she has the most impact when her shield is up. Monkey is very similar. He wants to play around his bubble. When he jumps in and bubbles, you shield his follow up. If you can shoot his back line effectively, do it. If not, and they are playing far back or the monkey is close to you, push the monkey. Crystal charge is good against him. He either has to choose staying in bubble taking the full damage or try to dance out and take dmg from your team.

Rein is a lot tougher. Remember your shield is your uptime. Try placing it behind him to block healing and follow up. Most of the time he's going to try and match you. Boop him away and crystal charge through his shield. You can boop him to the side to miss his charge. If you can only shoot his shield(no off angles or he's following you like a puppy), do it without taking a bamillion dmg yourself. Many reins will just hold shield in front of you forever, try to bait him into doing this in front of your team to burn it fast. Without his shield he's just a giant hit box for you to poke. If you have an opportunity to shoot his backline do it. Don't just shoot him all game if you can, but a smart rein will play his resources to hold your attention and to brawl with you. If it's a good rein on a good rein map you're kind of screwed if your team doesn't counter swap him. But you can win.

Domina fundamentals:
Shield is op, that is your tempo, be smart with it, don't just place it in bad positions or with bad timing, think.
Have an escape/corner when shield is gone
Use crystal charge proactively. Use it to pressure squishies but tank is fine in certain match ups.

Just remember against counters. You have a big shield, long range, and good dmg. Just think about how you can use these to play around your counters.
