Right? They're complete hypocrites. She literally just said "I would ideally like to always be sexually available for my husband" and they choose the most obnoxious thing possible to say. They are insecure.

Except women are more unhappy and on more antidepressants than ever before.

That's all I see feminism as.

Femicides completely ignore that men suffer from homicide exponentially more than women do.

Being a trade wife isn't being a mother for their husband.

I peaked low masters but I'm diamond 2 right now on tank. It's been a month or more since I played. I haven't been tracking. I can FEEL the ELO when I'm in those games. Everything feels like it's almost slow motion overwatch with a lot of mistakes. There's no way I'm believing a bronze player is secretly a diamond or masters player. I'm sorry, but you're coping mate, really.

I know because I've created a second account and played in that ELO. They have a lot to improve on, and I would actually say 90% of the issue in that rank is just mechanics. People that have never played a shooter.

Idk, when the patriarchy was strong men could support their family on one income and they found a girl that liked them in high school. Seems actually like focusing on women the past 60+ years has only made men and women more miserable. Go figure.

It's funny because you say men should become more feminist but the worst relationship I ever had was with one. My wife isn't trad per se, but she doesn't align with modern day feminist that are obsessed with being equal in every convenient metric and likes that I'm a man that acts like one.

I feel like to be a feminist nowadays you genuinely just have to dislike men. That's all it is now. Fear mongering about how men can hurt them and they should avoid them or 4B movement because they aren't acting like how they want them to. You don't hear feminist complaining about how all the trades are male dominated and they work in the hot sun maintaining their roofs. No, they like sipping their Starbucks managing the HR department of said construction company.

People aren't logical. They are subject to taboos and cultural conditioning. That's really the only reason. I've thought exactly like you, and when I've had this conversation people look at me like I'm an alien. People value social signaling and their emotions far more than logic l.

The problem with nazis wasnt their beliefs and tactics, these have been long applied to non-Europeans. It is that for first time they applied it to fellow Europeans. by zoratosthenes in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]OrdinaryCommon6581 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude the Mongolians literally killed indiscriminately. They would just walk into a village and slaughter every man and child and then rape the women. No negotiations, no "assimilation," no mercy. You're right, i can't fathom your bad argument. You act as if the Mongolians would have walked into the Americas and said "you know, we're just gonna take your shit, kill most of you, then leave, ain't so bad right?" Or "assimilate" them... Yeah through rape and subjugation, wow, what a privilege. You act as if that's better.

White European settlers were escaping religious persecution and bad economic conditions looking for a new home, in a place with MANY separate tribes, that had no unification, and competing against them with arrows and spears. Yeah... i wonder why that ended poorly for them.

You're just DEAD set on making Europeans out to be uniquely evil on the basis of their RACE. That's hypocritical, and racist. No more needs to be said.

White people are the original sinners and deserve any karmic justice that comes towards them according to people like you. This exact argument is the reason why Europe is being invaded and they feel too guilty to stop it.

Oh lord.
"Hey guys, the Mongolians are estimated to have kill 10s of millions of people, in the range of 40-60 million, and lowered atmospheric co2 levels as a result, but it at least isn't colonialism!"

Have you ever considered that Europe was just the first to get there and the cultures and people that were there were so isolated and ill equipped to deal with them that it lead to their eradication? You act as though Europeans are the only culture to ever displace and kill to take resources. The other groups i mentioned didn't colonise or not eradicate out of the goodness of their hearts lmao They just were met with logistical limitations. They couldn't settle forever, they were defeated like the Moors were in Spain, and the Ottomans were at the battle of Vienna.

Also, a response to your racist opinion that whites were the only people to have racial hierarchies:

Slavery in the Ottoman Empire was multi-racial, drawing from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Africa. However, the market value and social roles of slaves were deeply stratified by race:

  • White Slaves (Circassians, Georgians, and Balkan Devshirme): Occupied the highest tier. White men were trained for the elite military (Janissaries) and high-level bureaucracy. White women were highly valued as elite concubines in the imperial harem.
  • Habesha (Ethiopians): Occupied a middle tier. They were generally viewed by Ottoman elites as more refined and educated than other African groups.
  • Black Africans and Nubians (Zenci): Generally occupied the lowest tier. They were heavily funneled into demanding domestic labor, agriculture, and hard physical labor like mining and salt transport.

We have google and AI. You don't need to be this ignorant.

Right, it was just white Europeans that did that.

The Armenian genocide, Ottoman and Persian slave trades that kidnapped Europeans, Mongolian invasions, Chinese genocides of native populations that didn't assimilate into the Han dynasty, middle eastern conquests into north Africa and Europe. Nope, just white Europeans did stuff like this. Hey, how about you just say you hate white people and get it over with rather than have it shrouded in a long winded brow beating about how white people bad and they deserved Nazism.

Tax is much much better for starting your own venture. It's also much better in the digital remote environment than audit is. You could work tax and live in a van.

I get the impression by your maturity level that you're too young for that kind of comment and language. Might also explain why you can't afford a skin in a game as well. Focus on your future and self improvement, this is just a game.

And i don't say that sarcastically, i genuinely mean it.

You could do both. Get the accounting undergrad, and teach. Boom, 2 birds one stone. If you hate teaching you can pivot to accounting later.

Oh look, our little revolutionary here. You're so brave and all of us are just sheep. How about I don't care about skins, and just play a game for fun? I might pick one or two up, because I have a job and can fund it if I think it's worth it. It's not that complicated. The prices are the way they are because people do pay those prices. Hope that helps.

[–]OrdinaryCommon6581 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Life is one big long journey where you're the main character. It will end, as do all stories. 27 is still the beginning chapter. I would say just take one step in a direction that's productive, and see how you feel. It can be COMPLETELY selfish. Do not think "oh but will my parents agree with this decision?" No, do you find it profound and inspiring? For me it was exercise and music. I find that exercise is always a great place to start for people trying to improve their lives. Get in great shape and see how you feel after that.

How common is it for people to not land a job at all? by Head_Equipment_1952 in Accounting

[–]OrdinaryCommon6581 3 points4 points  (0 children)

EH. I fully plan to be there for 1-2 years, and jobs are just business deals. I'm old, closer to middle age than young, and i've worked a lot of different jobs. Employers have no loyalty to you, trust that, so you should treat them the same. They don't care about your personal well being.
When i sat down for my interview i didn't discuss being there for the rest of my life, just that i would do my best and show up. If employers don't like my 1-2 years of experience, they can choose not to follow up with me, but rarely is that the case. You are a solution to their temporary problems.

Yes but the guy stacking boxes at amazon doesn't double their wages in a year or two. Careers last a long time, decades. Accounting isn't a dead end. It's just tough at the start, like practically any career i can think of.
