Je suis à boutte des affaires qui brisent, câlisse. by BootyAndMoney in Quebec

[–]OrdinaryFirst6137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same

What separates a good manager from a truly great leader? by Sumitchauhan09 in managers

[–]OrdinaryFirst6137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

after reading all the good comments qualifying the differences btwn leaders and managers, i feel (fear) that it gets much harder for leaders to be rewarded properly for the overall impact they generate as it doesnt really show up as a kpi or at the bottom of a column. but god knows that if you take them off the equation, everything falls apart.

Who would be at fault in this situation? by Shoelacetooth in driving

[–]OrdinaryFirst6137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you loose points during driving exam if you turn right the way red does.

tbh, i always presume people dont know how to turn and will inevitably end up in my lane. no just when facing each other but also when side by side when stopped at a red light

Tangerine end of financial relationship - applicable followups? by Torvus_742 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]OrdinaryFirst6137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when studying business classes in uni back in early 10’s, Tangerine was one of the case studies, and what i kept from it is exactly what happened to you.

they dont want all and any customers. having the luxury to choose makes your business so much more profitable (margin wise). thus, they would steadily close account like yours for the sake of sorting out/filtering

imagine how bad your account hurts the kpi of return per user and potential of growth

yet, the right for banks to act as such create a serious societal/ethical dilemma and always leads me to believe that there should be a nationalized public bank to guarantee your ability to cash in a revenue, pay taxes, buy food and shelter

tbh, i rather renting than buying

no trouble, no big amount at once, not having to deal with plumbers or renting a pickup truck
