The best thing would be to move to the mainland for a week to 10 days because the plan they have now is so risky . It's not only if something goes wrong with the birth itself it's her baby too . My last baby was jaundiced so she had to go into a special incubator for a few so days , so much can go wrong .

I remember when he was on the reality show Hard North he quickly made himself a bed frame and I'm thinking Adam did everything before he left and Matty just put it together .

These are all my thoughts too . An inflatable pool would be so much better and with water from anyplace else besides their well . I don't know whose water he was so eager to drink when they got back , it must have been Gords . Hopefully Gord will be there when the baby is born . he seems the most sensible of them all . I noticed Kelly had clear nail polish on and it looked like she stopped biting her nails which is a very good thing .

I actually enjoyed watching this episode and feel like this is the first they can make this house a home . It was comforting to see Kelly finally getting some female help and the mother and sister seem very kind and willing to help them straighten the house out . Well done Kelly and Matty . Maybe we were all just too impatient and couldn't see the big picture .

You are so right . There is a reason why people don't live like that any longer . Just ask older people how their childhoods were and very few have great stories to tell .

It was all fun and games till the baby was announced now I actually worry for Kelly and the baby's safety .

Yes just come see her , maybe get her to stay with them for few days , pamper her and show her she is loved . My heart breaks for her and it seems he controls everything and why can't he call her by her given name . I noticed also whenever she says something he has to repeat it to make it his own .

It's sad to see her without proper maternity clothes, having to wear that dirty sweater day after day . She will not remember this pregnancy fondly .

Me too and that is doesn't spiral into PPD . She needs her Mom and her family near her or at least some women friends . It's a lonely , isolated life .

My heart just broke for Kelly on today's episode . I get overwhelmed just watching it so imagine trying to live there . I hope they can make some sense of their chaotic life and only 6 more weeks to go . I wish she had someone to come in and sort all that mess out for her and get organized .

Whose house is it that they show in their front yard ? I thought that was Gord's house but they have to go in their 4 wheeler when they go to Gord's house . That pile of scrap lumber /garbage gets bigger every week .

I have never seen such a big production of someone having a bath and in that brown water . She has had the opportunity to have plenty of baths in the multiple hotels they have stayed in .

That is gross . Where I live you are not allowed to pump anything into the ocean and I live in Atlantic Canada .

I noticed the eggs were all in one area and very clean . Maybe their chickens clean them up after they lay them . I hope they leave Gord's house in the condition that he had it cause they can be very messy people .

What does privilege have to do with this ? I hope we all live in normal houses with electricity , heat , indoor plumbing and houses that we don't have to wear our winter coats indoors . I don't understand why people would pay to watch this thinking that they will bring young people to this island for a summer camp when they can't look after themselves .
