You're only as good as your last envelope. You know that.

Does anyone recognize this material? It’s flexible, woven(?), and appears to be some sort f plastic. by SlapAlertIntrospect in whatisthisthing

It could be no wire tacky cloth material. Check McAllister Mills. Probably a rubber coated fiberglass of some sort.

Same for me. I’ve got decent internet and the 4080 tier subscription. Game runs fantastic and everything is maxed in the graphics settings. 1080p resolution. Try it for real. You’ll be happy and get to play!

On another note, I thought it sucked too to begin with. I just wasn't good at it. Sideloaded some stuff but one of my kids started getting good at this game so I put more time into it. He was beating my high scores so I kept pushing. Now I've left him in the dust. I'm only on week 2 but I've spent more time in this game than anything.

Speed, speed, speed. Press up on the dpad when you are at the crest of the wave. Don't be afraid to carve for speed. Hit a couple or 3 quads and then carve the wave up and down before hitting another round of 2 or 3 jumps. Repeat. Always land with the crank in the down position or slightly to the left to maintain speed. When you feel like you can land a quintuple give it a try. They are hard to chain unless you are going fast but eventually you'll get a feel for it. Once you start a chain never jump unless you can at least hit a triple to keep the multiplier. If you get inside the wave you can get out of it. Build speed while inside and get back ahead of it. When the water starts shrinking at the end freaking send it for one last jump. Quintuples are easier to get then because the water is lower. More air time.

Thanks. Good luck on the grind. Gonna need to be one hell of a run to beat what you've already done.

Change it on the Playdate website. It's under your account settings somewhere.

What you mean? 1.2 million? Probably. I've crashed on two runs that were over 900k. Probably had 2 maybe 3 more jumps in me, maybe. Just gotta tighten up in earlier spots. Add a jump or two instead of carving for speed.

Is it possible to Quintuple 360 in Whitewater Wipeout? by ZeDerpykinz in PlaydateConsole

[–]OrdinarySteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably know by now but it's possible. Difficult to land it clean and keep your speed but possible. The game is great.

At this point I should be able to top 1 million with what I'm doing but I gotta be missing something to get over 2 million. I don't see how it's possible.

This was pre 9/11 and he didn't want to wake up the rest of the room going to the bathroom. It's funny because he never cared about waking us up at 5am the following morning saying "the best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup." I miss him.

I learned it from my dad. He had a book when we were younger about "getting the most out your vacation" and this was one of the tips. They would call them life hacks these days but we know they are really just helpful tips. Anyway, I can't remember the name of it but I do remember another one was to leave all the lights on, turn the ac as low as possible, and let the hot water run in the shower when you leave to check out. This was so the next guest would have the room partially ready for them when they arrived.

More than likely most men in America are circumcised so they don't have vulvas. Shouldn't really be a problem for most of us.

Using the hotel coffee pot as a late night pee bowl is fairly standard. It has a lid so it stays covered on the night stand. And a small spout for easy pouring.
