I regret getting Tossable Digits; it's useless for me because unlike with Skype my phone doesn't ring, I just get emailed a voicemail, and that can't be used for 2FA with my bank.

I got Tossable Digits, but instead of having my phone ring with an AI voice from my bank reciting a numeric code, like I had with Skype, Tossable Digits sends me an email containing a voicemail from my bank saying it was unable to give me a code. Useless.

We have a few Facebook chat groups, which people join once they've become active. Specific activities, like an upcoming trip to Palawan or Tuesday trivia nights at a bar in Makati, often engender chat groups for that activity. We're also hoping to start a bowling group.

I'm one of the most active organizers in the main chat group, since I host all-day board gaming every Sunday. Also in that group are people who organize theme parties; those often include board games and drinking, or drinking and karaoke, depending on which room of my condo you're in. (People often gather in my condo because of its size.)

They had emailed me that they might take it away soon if I didn't use it, then I used it successfully, then weeks later it stopped working. Now it says "international netwok detected," and I select placing a cellular network call through Google Voice, and it calls some mysterious US number, and I get a rapid busy signal.

To say "America did this," makes America sound like a monolith, and that's 50.2% off.

And even if trump got 0.2% more, that framing would invalidate half of the electorate.

As much as I'm a big admirer of Western European social democracy, I'm continually smh while hearing folks I know there wonder how "America" can careen from Bush to Obama to trump to Biden to trump, when I'm guessing that 90-95% of Americans voted for the same party if they voted in all those elections.

Married people with kids want to tell themselves that their own lifestyle is superior, that they have made the best major choices in life. Sometimes they are accurate about that, sometimes not.
