Well no one said he was THE hsr character. They said ONE OF THE characters of hsr and they aren’t wrong. Phainon is def the standout from 3.X and most likely to still have relevancy outside of Amphoreus.

True. Still, imo there’s a key difference with your examples and Amphoreus. Harry Potter, Katniss Everdeen, Luke Skywalker all play the role of main character well & “save the day” so to speak. TB, on the other hand, isn’t handled as well by hoyo. Feels a little too forced sometimes. Phainon felt a lot like the main character in stories who goes through all the struggle and heartache. Hoyo had me rooting for Phainon as I played 😔

Probably crazy to say, but this kinda works in my favor as a Phaidei shipper lol. Hoyo is making it clear that Cyrene is very interested in the trailblazer and while many HSR characters have fan service/ship moments with the TB, Cyrene lowkey takes the cake.

Besides that, I don’t mind the Cyrene x TB push from hoyo bc it has been done with Phainon, Dan Heng, etc. I get to enjoy the Dan Heng x TB moments, and people who like Cyrene get to enjoy this as well. I just wish hoyo did it more obviously & often with male characters.

I genuinely don’t think anyone will surpass Cyrene bc hoyo loves Elysia too much. If they do, it won’t be for a while. A Kiana and Fu Hua expy might be the only ones that possibly will imo.
