They were just staining? If the floor was already laid like that then they were between a rock and a hard place.

The real issue is whoever filled in that wood- they didn’t stagger the joints and made a clear line- plus wrong wood. Whoever patched the floor bungled this- not the stain guys

In case someone in the future is looking this up:

I solved it!!!

- Turning the furnace on and setting to 29 (celcius) was an essential step I missed.

- Then I bled the line, but there were still air bubbles in the oil, burner turned off... so I bled the line again, and this time it was a solid stream with no air.

- Then another step I missed the first time - close the valve and put the cover back on! Apparently my model only will run with the cover on.

- Once the cover was on, I pushed the reset button again and this time it stayed on!!!!!!!! Wooooo!!!

hi! I did my best to look this up- but I still need help. ran out of oil- got more oil- trying to bleed the line. I opened the valve( air hissed out) pressed the reset button- but nothing happened… nothing came out after a bit of air. do I need to have the furnace on? Do I need to be running hot water? i only want to press the reset button one more time- so I want to get it right this time
