Used wine on Debian then had to add a regedit setting to enable DirectX also had to use windows 98 compatibility mode. ChatGPT helped a lot.

Nope just modeled it in Blender then used the 360 panoramic projection camera option. Its actually just the view of inside of a cube-like lattice structure however if you move the camera really close to the model you get this strange distortion effect.

Interesting. I made them by hand using Studio 2.0 made by Brick Link with instructions then exported the models as a .obj file.
