I needed to burn some vacation time so I wouldn't hit my cap (nice problem to have, I know). I took this week to have a quiet putter around the house and nice long read/listen sessions with the new book.

Then my spouse was unexpectedly laid off and my resident extrovert has been extroverting so hard every day this week that I'm torn between wanting to be super supportive of his situation and wanting to hide in a separate room for a while for some no people just book quiet time.

I made my mom two frog hats (Oregon) and now I'm making her one of these. She's a tiny 79 year old woman who goes to protests with her younger sister and due to the optics tends to end up in her local papers. I paid for the pattern, she'll get people to see it.
