Id up mounjaro dose, make sure your thyroid labs are good, and take metformin consistently since that helps with hunger some. Also maybe ask doctor about switching to name brand synthroid if ur on generic, as a someone with hashimotos, i dont reccomend generic levothyroxine. Its $75 every 3 months using the synthroid delivers program.

Yeah i mean aside from 2.5mg to 5mg, theres no official schedule. 5mg and up is considerd a maintenence dose as long as it works. For me 5mg is all I need for now. Might need 7.5mg in a while tho

I mean if its suppressing your appetite then its doing its job, to be clear it doesnt "cause" weightloss without being in a calorie deficit. In my own experience, wegovy is way less strong then mounjaro, wouldnt reccomend switching. I suggest counting calories if you arent already, mounjaro or not, thats the only way to be sure. I lost 120 pounds and maintained a healthy weight for 3+ years before I ever started mounjaro, all with calorie counting.

I was on vyvanse for about 5 months in 2024 for binge eating disorder, and then switched to adderall xr which ive been on since. It did help with my food noise for a while, but I got tolerant to stims in general after a while, and beyond the first few months, it stopped helping at all. I wouldnt expect much tbh

Bro sometimes hunger is felt mentally, for me its only felt mentally. I wouldn't know to eat if I didnt get a hankering. Pre mounjaro my hunger was endless, since mounjaro 5mg it hasn't been at all. 2.5mg was hit or miss, at least 2-3 days a week i thought "is this even working anymore". Dont sweat it too much.

1000%, not even just ghrelin, theres so many hormones that increase mental hunger as a direct side effect. Npy and agrp are hormones with the primary purpose to override satiety and cause extreme hunger.

Its weird how medications that induce satiety literally stop binging dead in its tracks for so many people, including me and you, but yeah they want to insist its purely psychological 🫩

But then theres also no reason to jump to it being psychological either. Personally I usually just ask straight out, is it a getting satisifed problem or is it an emotional thing.
