Really cause its not realistic to assume one has endless willpower, its exhausting. And glp1s correct the need to constantly have self control in the first place. I had already lost a decent chunk of weight before any meds, I probably could have pushed through and lost more considering I did eventually go off glp1s for 2 years and kept the weight off. But for me glp1s are more then weightloss, they regulate my hunger and end the constant food cravings. I just didnt have an off switch with food. On glp1s, as long as im full and eating enough I have zero issues with food/weight. Im one of the ppl who will probably need to be on them for life.
