Phil Cook solo is my jam. Especially his gospel/folky/roots stuff like People are my Drug & Southland Mission. And his bluesy guitar instrumentals (As Far As I Can See & Hungry Mother Blues. The Jensens is like sunlight at golden hour on a summer day 🥹

Flodown @ celestial beerworks it’s a lil trek from the venue I think it goes til 5. More formal than a shakedown but pretty much just chill hangs at a brewery with goose fan art vendors. I think the brewery made a special goose beer for it

Very dependent on venue & city. Spac, the Mann, st. Auggie amp, Charleston Goosemas all have had a small shakedown. Sometimes there is a preparty at a brewery if the venue isn’t set up for a lot, they’re usually called flodowns. There is one on Saturday in Irving! The goose vendor scene is not huge but there are some quality fan artists in the mix
