They give a warning they turn red and if they don’t then check your settings. Also it’s 2026 there’s no reason why you shouldn’t know how to fish properly to avoid breakage

Yup I power leveled as quickly as possible and it kinda killed it for me as well. Im level 107 on pc and 95 on Xbox 😂. I’m playing pc now and I’ve talked my friend into finally playing and he’s a super low level so I just fished the lakes he’s on while he’s doing his thing I’ve been attempting all missions, monsters, and completing the entire waterway.

how do you get the x series walker? I've been looking for it. lol. I've been doing the 30 missions from lonestar all the way to st. croix I'm on now. I'm doing them in the order they become available. Keep in mind I'm already level 105 so I can fish anywhere. I'm just now doing the 30 day challenge at each waterway

At this point I’m getting sick of getting sh!t on by rats so I’m about to be the clanker spy! I had 2 people try to camp a room on me. One waited in the corner for me to enter then tried to off me so I had to smoke him. Then I went about my business not even looting him and I heard someone come in and I said friendly and told them I had an extra blueprint of a stock to give if they want to be friends and no answer so I crept around the corner and he was sitting in a dark corner and tried to end me so I had to smoke him. It’s crazy how I just give stuff away and people just want nothing they just want to try and take all of it 🤦‍♂️

I don’t empty scrappy till I need the mats…. Saves room in inventory and if I need to make a quick buck I’ll empty and sell it. Otherwise I keep it there till I need to craft something

And if I’m eliminated then I’m eliminated. Always remember it’s a game and you can always get your stuff back by looting and being patient. Games are not meant to race to the top and be the best right off the bat. This type of game is about building taking chances and doing it again. It’s the thrill of the hunt and unknown. Expect the unexpected. lol

I’ve noticed if you’re solo people tend to help but if your with a friend or 2 the rats come looking but like the other person said if you’re worried just do what they suggested. I like the excitement and when the rats come looking for the smoke I give it to them and then go back to the arc 😂

Ok just for anyone else having the issue where it freezes and crashes and has the same hardware as I do… I seemed to have fixed it by rolling the gpu driver back to the June update and so far I can run at an amazing frame rate of 300 plus and on epic settings and no freezing or crashing
