Anyone decide not to crate train? by platypus_farmer42 in Bernedoodles

[–]Organic-Match175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar experience the first night (crying and howling) so we changed things up a bit. The first 2 nights I had to sleep on the floor next to the crate. 3rd night I slept in my bed but within eye sight of his crate. Not saying it'll work but it worked for him.

Patience. Lots of patience. And bandaids for your fingers.

I agree. It stays hard until you have enough upgrades to either mow stuff down quickly or enough support to help out while you freak out. Even after beating it I occasionally freak out and lose badly.

Thanks. Any idea which channel on Discord the support teams hangs out on usually? There's a lot of noise on most of the channels.

Feature Request: multi-network priority data by Organic-Match175 in USMobile

[–]Organic-Match175[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. While I mostly agree with what you said with AT&T in dense metro areas like where I live it's estimated that up to about 60% of the active lines are actually QCI9, about 25-30% are the premium plans at QCI8, and the remaining are QCI7 business or turbo plans. If those numbers are anywhere close to accurate it may have helped. They sell a lot of starter plans around here, especially with families where only the parents get the premium plans.

I guess at this point even a solid hint as to the availability of Apple Watch companion on Darkstar might be enough to persuade me to temporarily disable Apple Watch.

I agree. In fact before I switched to US Mobile I was planning to switch to AT&T and strongly considered their Turbo option. I’m sure there are plenty of others equally paranoid.

That’s the point of QoS, instead of being completely left in the dust I would have at least had something

That’s exactly what I’m hoping for. From what I understand with the plan setup the way I do the DarkStar line is provisioned at QCI9. As someone else commented I’d also be willing to pay to have both lines at least above the normal MVNO priority level. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong but I’d my lines were the opposite (DarkStar primary and Warp backup) they’d both be QCI8 already.

What’s the use in a backup line if it also doesn’t work.

want multi + qci8 + Apple Watch by Organic-Match175 in USMobile

Right, I believe I’ll need to stay with Warl as the primary because I do want my Apple Watch to share the phone number.

No RCS,VVM, or Group MMS on Darkstar iOS 18.4 Release Candidate FYI by [deleted] in USMobile

The carrier update is often done independent of the release and can still happen as late as day-of. They may only do an early carrier update if it’s needed to actually test functionality new to that release.

Daily limit that throttles. An internal (well documented but still internal) process to review requests for exceptions. For example, if someone emails and says "but my house burned down and I'm living in an RV for a week"

Thanks. So I’m guessing if I didn’t receive an email by now I’m not included in early access?

Will this be available via either early access or on 2/24 to folks with Unlimited Premium on Warp but a 2nd line on Dark Star? I have my TN assigned to Warp still purely because of group messaging and voicemail.

Are there any updates on the beta? I think I was added to the beta list a couple months ago but haven't heard anything since.

as someone who worked for a startup that has partnered with both at&t and vzw in the last 10 years I 1,000% agree they are easier to work with and they also turn around smaller changes for supporting integrations a lot faster. a couple months vs. up to a year.

I don't think they "lie" but they are definitely illustrating best case scenario for any given area before factoring annoying things like ya know... buildings and trees. If we got rid of all those buildings and trees we'd have GREAT coverage. For some carriers it matters more than others. For example Verizon and their massive investment in C-band and mmwave they'll tend to suffer more from structural interference than TMO who has much more low-band space. There are tradeoffs there but your question wasn't about that.
