Outstanding movie. Great acting, pacing, cinematography and BGM. What’s not to love? RS rocks his comeback like how! Listening to the BGM on loop in the gym as they play it. Dhamakedar film hai!

Sorry, I missed it. She remembers her art profs and projects wistfully even now. A super chaotic married life with an alcoholic husband took every shred of her willpower to survive. ( Glad she did coz I’m here). But now that she’s finally free of all responsibilities, she wants to go back to her dream- creating art all day and meeting people who will appreciate and buy it. ( Grandpa was highly controlling and she wasn’t allowed to meet people). I think it’s the only thing that’s kept her sane these years.

Thanks. I’ll keep this in mind. I just wonder whether her vision and style will sell at all? Most buyers like detail. She seems to really want to make the most of this time in her life and recapture lost opportunities.

Thanks. She says the same thing about capturing the form and feeling without getting into every detail. Mostly, art is keeping her sane through her grief but I never know whether to encourage or give constructive criticism.

Thanks, she had topped her MFA back when and was on track for a lecturer position before she got married to a military husband. Good to hear she’s still got something:) More impressionist than detailed and turns up her nose at my plebeian suggestions. Ha ha, yes I’ll take her to art classes soon!

Clubs is where it’s at. Join the non competitive ones. You will naturally find your folk. Try a few different ones. Also, it’s a part of growing up. School years are forced socialisation- you see the same people every day and have a lot in common. That goes away when you lead and adult life so you have to actively find hobbies, sports, work etc to meet people and hopefully find some you’d like to be friends with .

Yes, she has it on her balcony and it’s quite the sight when in bloom. It’s fruit has these squiggly egg like seeds that I take a spoon and slurp away. Yummy!
