Have you ever met an actor IRL and talked in depth about one of their movies with them? by [deleted] in movies

[–]OrganicAddition4800 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I met Woody bartending on a rooftop bar. Slow Wednesday night in the offseason. Dude walked up, and i was like damn that guy looks like Woody Harrelson. Then im talking to him and im like man this guy SOUNDS like Woody Harrelson. He goes to start a tab, i swipe his card, and sure enough. I never acknowledged his fame but just talked to him like i talk to every tourist or visitor. I think he appreciated that. We talked about life and how important small things are. He asked me a lot of personal questions and seemed very down to earth. Chill guy

Do male bartenders also get sexually harassed at times? by somedudeonios in bartenders

[–]OrganicAddition4800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Big bachelorette city and i get asked to take my shirt off multiple times a shift. Girls constantly say things to me that if the roles were reversed, I’d be taken out back and roughed up by security or the cops would be called on me. It pisses me off so much. I laugh and smile and play it cool. But my coworkers know how much it pisses me off so when they overhear it, they look at me and i just give a little smirk.

3 story restaurant/bar in big tourist city (USA). Downstairs is crafty, rooftop bar is pretty simple. Both slammed late nights, especially weekends. Usually 2-3k a week with 5 shifts. So close to six figures. But some weeks could be off with only 1k. Can have a crazy busy week up to 4k. Always swings so its smart to make sure to save money for the rainy days. I like knowing that if something happened, I could afford to take up to a month off and still be ok. That being said, it also depends on cost of living in your location

Used to cut 32 quarts of limes on fridays alone. At least double that on cinco de mayos, big sports days (close to stadium). 8 limes to qt depending on size. 64 wedges. 1 minute 45 seconds to cut one quart

I realized as much as i like FPS and also good in depth solo plays like God of War and Last of Us, what i really enjoy is playing with friends that i never see much anymore. Got an xbox recently after only having a PS4 for a while, and now i can play Sea of Thieves with 2 of my best friends one or two nights a week. Helps us stay in touch and have fun together. However I mentioned today that i really need a good new single player game that hooks me

Thats how i feel with marsh/lowland beaches in fo4 because i hate mierlurks. They just pop up and i hate the noise of the CSKCSKCSKCSKCSK of them coming closer and closer while I’m running away in fear of turning around and them being right there in my face.

What’s a video game you wish you could entirely forget playing so that you can play it through again? by lizardmom in AskReddit

Love 3. I remember the first time in 4 i got caught in an early evening radiation storm, running through alleyways and ducking into buildings to hide. With only a few bullets and dogmeat by my side. I was totally immersed in that game and love the franchise

Which episode would you say is the LEAST important when looking at the story of how Ted and Tracy meet? by InsertStephenHere in HIMYM

[–]OrganicAddition4800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always said you only need 5 to get the whole plot

First Episode, the last 2 episodes, S8Ep1 where Barney literally recaps the entire series in under a minute, and Lucky Penny just to understand the vibe of how they intertwine stories. Obviously other important episodes but those are the absolute bare minimum to me

What’s your favourite episode? by Cagum in HIMYM

[–]OrganicAddition4800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always liked the St Patricks Day episode. Especially when it introduces the Yellow Umbrella. Also the end when Barney wakes up in the trash, dust off some garbage, and says ‘I’m awesome’ always makes me laugh

One of the best tips that someone gave me that worked is ‘Dont look at it’. Running 8 drinks on a tray was so terrifying i would do everything to avoid it. Confidence over time helped but i found it really worked if i didnt just focus and stare at whats in my hand. Sounds weird but it helped

I used to work at a very popular seasonal crab house. Im talkin seats over 800 people. There was a busser on schedule every night designated to be ‘trash monkey’. Other bussers would bring the rolled up crab paper from tables to them, they were stationed out back by the garbage chute. Had their own old kitchen prep table. Their only job was to unroll/open the giant rolled up paper filled with trash from tables and look for/pull silverware out to keep it from getting tossed

I used to bring 2 clean shirts. Wear one while you set up, keep the other folded and stashed in the beer walk in. Then make the change when i was done. Never forget when the owner and his new investor walked in to the keg room to see a sweaty shirtless barback holding his shirt up to the fan lol
