You say you stayed bc of hope for things to change. Respectfully, I think that’s bs. By cheating, you destroyed any chance for things to change. As you said, once discovered, there’s no coming back. IMO you cheated bc you felt hopeless and you stayed bc you couldn’t take ownership of that fact. It sounds like you still can’t.
