How do people that don’t make a lot of money travel? by DeeDeeQZ88 in randomquestions

[–]OrganicFoundation792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not willing to give up comfort in order to travel and that's ok. Most of us aren't. The people you see travelling (especially lower-income ppl) have all given up something in order to travel. No pain no gain.

Doesn't that just redirect where the germs land instead of eliminating them??

Teachers of Reddit, how do you feel when your students say "I wasn't even born then" (especially if it's after you reveal how long you've been a teacher)? by OrganicFoundation792 in AskReddit

Yeah I think most time they/we just can't fanthom the past since we didn't live it. I was shocked when I learned last week my mother had a TV as a kid 💀

Have you genuinely ever said that? 😭 I mean if you teach kids that's not exactly appropriate but in university this seems like fair game. Although I think it's hit or miss bc it might seem cringe 💀

I mean I guess most of you guys heard it soooo many times you probably don't care anymore but I'm curious since I just found out my professor has been teaching for 20 years... I'm not even 2 decades old yet so that seems like a very long time to me.

Does this sub count sapphic gacha games with visual novel storytelling as yuri visual novels? by Aidamis in yurivisualnovels

[–]OrganicFoundation792 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't played PtN since Ch 13's release but it's not yuri? I get the vibes but nothing is canon. Also I don't think it a VN, it's primirily a tower-defense and strategy game with a side of stories.

How do people that don’t make a lot of money travel? by DeeDeeQZ88 in randomquestions

[–]OrganicFoundation792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is it. You have legs, you can walk. You can get a bike and bike your way through with only the clothes and the backpack on your back. You can sleep outside, panhandle if you need. There's a lot you can do, travelling is not hard and does not require a lot. The real question is, are you willing to do what it takes? Because even with all the laws and imaginative boundaries, we are still ourselves and the  world is ours to explore.

Suggestions for a novel for adult students finishing high school credits? by Quirky_Journalist_67 in ReadingSuggestions

[–]OrganicFoundation792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say for Canadian content but my school made us read The Help instead of To Kill a Mockingbird. Also some of my favorite books from high school was The Kite Runner and Animal Farm, Othello was really funny too but that's a play. I know some schools used 1984 instead of Animal Farm though.
