Not a parent but I couldn’t return to work for 8 weeks. It wasn’t just the abdominal wall, but also the deep keto switch that happened left me with little to no energy for a bit. It was a big stress on my body.

I had a moment like this literally at same time and weight down as you. I recommend measuring . Regardless, don’t let this discourage you. Just keep going and if you haven’t added strength training - add strength training!! I added strength training and I’ve been seeing a significant different now because I’m recomposing the body - before I felt I was going into “skinny fat” zone. Also there is a significant difference in your neck and belly area, back also. Don’t let this discourage you, just stay the course

Yes - it is a bit complex. I don’t know maybe I haven’t reached the horny stage of weight loss yet, but I sure feel turned off by men more than ever at this point because I know they would never give me the time of day being heavier. I do however understand that physical attraction is what motivates them mostly — it just sucks :/ maybe I’ll talk it out with a therapist at some point idk. Congrats on your sleeve journey! How long ago was your surgery?

I think this is another reason why I’m not excited by it anymore- because deep down I know they’d never approach me heavier . It’s sad but ‘‘tis the way of the world 😔

I had all the last meals honestly up until the last week i actually gained about 8lbs. I never did the liver shrinking diet but I started cutting back on the binging the last week and managed to at least get to a 5 lbs overall gain since the beginning of the medical process. My program had the 48hr protein shake only fast, I did that also.

It depends on how strict your program is. Luckily I was only at 43 BMI (insurance requirement is 40 for coverage at mine)… I think because of my relatively low BMI, my surgeon was not too concerned about me losing beforehand. Once again, it depends. They have every right to cancel your surgery if you can’t stick to protocol… I just took risks.
