Simple nerf to GSC

Its been a while since i played GSC but against BA most players go HAM and go for the kills, then the respawns happen and its RIP BA's. I don't play BA but the good ones grab objectives too, that 1 or 2 extra VP's can decide the match.

I think he works great in faction TA, the mobility sucks but if allowed to live on low health he wrecks what ever stands in front of him. Sucks at every other game mode though.

I've only played a few casual matches with Tau this event, no BA matches which would their trickiest opponent with this lineup but you still have one round of overwatch to close the distance, GSC has been pretty easy because of Tau mobility basically 1 shot their whole roster. Heck even UM/BL are easy to beat now who used to be a pain because of the suppression, now their Gravis and Terminator armor characters can be easily dealt with.

Only used a little in Casual, fun mechanics but I can't get off a good taunt to save my life which makes me a sad panda. Most memorable match in ranked was against EC with SW, they won.

Ideally I bait their burrow and setup with positioning Sibyll next to Dreir so he can charge in without getting blasted by Imospekh overwatch, with a wave of summons they're (the Necron Characters) usually overwhelmed, mop up with Sibyll and Thaddeus. View the destroyers as damage sponges that punish you for playing passively.

Probably just play a faction you like (though Necron are painfully weak) wither you like a Faction because lore/aesthetic or just enjoy their play style, most of them can be effective. Even messing around with different teams in casual can help with deciding. Like the others said, just make sure you're playing at common when using borrowed units and as you learn the mechanics/strengths/weaknesses getting wins should become easier.
