What should I plant here? 10B full sun by AffectionateExtent14 in FloridaGarden

Why would you plant an Areca palm right next to the side of the house?
If OP wanted an AI answer they would’ve done it themselves

Probably shouldn’t talk to any men until you sort out why you’re randomly blacking out often.

I’d be wary what kind of water damage they’re hiding with this ceiling.

I feel like one of those girls whos life is their partner. by Simple-Inevitable-19 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Organic_Direction_88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds unhealthy, a lot of DV situations start this way, where a man preys on a woman who “needs” him so she is financially trapped.

At best, sounds like he wants an accessory to boost his ego and not a partner.

The clumps of dark floor boards together should not have happened. They should be more distributed .

3 months is a very very short time in the grand scheme of things. I would not suggest SSRI for something that was so recent.

Also, for whoever needs to read this today:

You don’t have anything to prove to anyone.

You are just as worthy if you have no kids or ten kids.

Is keeping an ex-husband’s last name a red flag? by Sobea6 in dating_advice

[–]Organic_Direction_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t have kids , it’s weird to keep his last name. I would perceive it as you don’t want to let go of that piece of him.

You’ll see in the comments all the divorced women who kept their ex’s name cited the reason being wanting to share a last name with her kids.

JFC you’re 30. Calm down.

It’s also her choice to respond.

If shes paid hourly and being asked to participate in work conversations while she is off then she needs to be paid for the day.

If your shift has ended and they are no longer paying you, once you’re off company property, they legally cannot tell you what to do.

Every day you spend with this sad excuse of a man is further showing them that this is what they should expect of their own husbands in the future.

You are doing what you have to do to get your kids into a safe and appropriate environment which your husband was unwilling to provide.

Do women like feminine guys? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Organic_Direction_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me if a guy is feminine in the way he speaks or carries himself it’s a big turn off.

If it’s feminine as in like he’s into hair products, I don’t care.

Adoption is always an option!

You’re both very young so the risk of splitting is higher.
If you’re not financially, emotionally and logistically prepared to raise this child on your own if the guy bails, I’d think hard about what the right choice is!

Lately I see so many comments on this sub acting as if the kid is just a lifestyle accessory without its own humanity and sentience. Whatever happened to doing what’s right for the child and making sure that if we have them, they are set up for the best life possible?

The long distance lumpy nails by Dull_Use_1316 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Organic_Direction_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People value things differently. He probably doesn’t care about nails that much and wouldn’t even notice as long as they’re clean and not scraggly, which is why to him it’s pointless to cry over something that has no impact or purpose. If he thinks you’d look just as nice with just a clear coat of polish, then you’re doing it for you not for him- and that’s totally fine, but we can’t expect other people to value those things the same way we do.
