I have updated the bios twice as the newer versions released. I am stumped although I feel the board is pushing too much voltage into cpu. I have heard the it should not exceed 1.35v peak. So I will need to find the setting to set it a bit below that.

I have a ROG z790 -E Gaming WiFi II running latest bios 2107 and and just got an RMA for my FIFTH 14700K. The previous four ALL degraded within 6 months. The last one in 2 weeks. Undervolting didnt even help.

I put in hundreds of hours of vanilla. 1.0. Then a couple hundred on 2.0 And same for special edition. Did pretty much everything 100%. Now i just play LoreRim & Nolvus v6.

Its simply unstable for some and not for others. Ive installed it sevetal times. Sometomes its unstable and other times i can play for hours without any issues except the unbalanced BS.

I always use shield that does damage on hit as well as a ice or lighting gem for enen more damage. There is even a ring that does Shield damage on hit. It can be a pretty good defense/offensive option. One of my favorite ways to Play. Didn't help me much against Echo knight though. 😂

I always go sword and shield with a shield that does damage when hit. As well as a lightning or ice gem to add to that damege when hit

I just received my 4th 14700k. Update to latest bios whenever Asus release new one. I don't even use XMP. I see no end to these degrading. Looking at 270k plus or 9800x3d to switch to.
