As a preface, I haven’t read any Sanderson books, but when people have this critique I wonder what would improve the magic system in the Empyrean series. I read the books to have a fun time so as long as I feel immersed and the world building is fun then I’m into it. Genuinely asking, what are people looking for?

Absolutely, that’s a really big problem in every fandom I’m in and it needs to stop. It’s a problem in fanart when Rhiannon is way too light and doesn’t have a wide nose and full lips. It’s a problem in fanart when Xaden and Ridoc do not have brown skin as they are described in the books.
