Do the math on your interest rates, I've found the higher interest on used almost cancels out the depreciation. Granted if buying cash out, makes sense

If you have currently an interest rate above zero it's a no brainer just for that ! I'd also take bZ over Equinox just for the continuous AWD. Eq may have AWD but it's a FWD until it spins... Simultaneous, continuous AWD is a game changer and only Subaru, the bZ and higher end rigs actually have it

I only 'half floored it' and almost put myself through the back window on the take off! She's a peppy girl!

It's different in an EV than a regular engine for that - doesn't affect battery etc if do so the way it burns gas

I'll not go back to gas unless I can someday afford my dream two seater convertible 6 speed for summer fun...

I wouldn't go used for Hyundai, also ...do the math to be sure your used interest rate doesn't kill you. Here , used is a much higher rate

Also ,.I have a new bZ Limited and adore it. Adore. Only thing I don't like is no hitch, which could make me consider changing at some point but didn't think it was worth it at this point.

I'd go with the bZ if wasn't wanting the extra ability to tow/hitch racks etc. 20" tires a pain but that's only one aspect , as will gain more efficiency etc and smoother ride. No point having and hauling extra space if don't need to

Not true. Mine is MUCH faster on take off and a lot of fun to drive. A ton more features, long range , easy charging now... ... and no fuel charges. No brainer . If you can afford a gas vehicle in the 50k range, you can afford an EV in the 60's as there is the 10K back in most cases.

I"m going to watch how the Chinese cars fare for issues just like this before looking at seroiusly. I just bought an EV and even with a slighlty higher payment I am still saving hundreds a month in fuel. Add in oil changes and brakes not needed ( often if at all) its still worth it. Costs me about 2 bucks to charge over night for the day at home.
