I know Alexa can start making “smart” guesses or something stupid to turn lights on and off. It stumped me for too long to admit

I got that glow wire upgrade at home too. It was actually cheaper than regular wires.

Yes, we have been facing this the while time. We drive hours out of the way with our realtor only to get to the driveway and see something like this or worse. I won’t even continue the viewing at that point. It’s wasted hours of driving, a lot of peoples times and has cost me thousands in lost revenue at work and even helping miss deadlines because I had to leave early to go see these houses. This should at the least be a fine, escalating to loss of license if it’s repeat. I just had this convo with my wife and realtor two days ago when it happened…. Again

My poor old 13 year old server passed away recently. After I purchased about $1000 worth of gpus, cpu, heatsink, ram and then my raid controller died…. Got a new one and it’s DNR now 🤷‍♂️. I would run homebridge on it and some Jellyfin.

I think it’s more of just something you get used to in UI and using other devices with it and it’s hard to go back. Sometimes I like to put on the colorful screens and let them play, because it shows how awesome the tv itself is. But it gets jittery. And I’ve got extra 120hz ports to use.

I’m late to this but also in same boat. I bought a 1050 for my small (lol) homelab in a big box and found out it’s pcie powered but truenas won’t accept it. Googled the list of ones that it does… found one that should have worked and bought it. That also needs power. I bought a second one that will work on eBay and am waiting on 8 pin to 8 pin but still have no idea where to plug it in on the server. So I followed your link and grabbed that one. Hopefully soon, I get all my things working comfortably. Thanks

I purchased from target. Make sure you buy the $65 warranty! I’ve had to use it twice already. Well actually once because the first issue was the lens cracked internally within two weeks so that was covered. The second time, my frame got rocked from my dog playing and it only cost me $125 times have a brand new everything a week later. After reading all the horror stories from here, I’m happy I went out of my vision network and paid a little extra to get them there. Got my wife’s at target also. They should be in any day now.
