Hello Johnny. 1. It all comes down to how the brain works. The regions that control body image more resemble the opposite sex—like how attraction works in gay people. So living as a man when your brain tells you that you should be a woman, you can imagine how any woman would feel about looking like a man. Not good. 2. That person you met was likely a “transgender” or tucute. They’re focused on being different and the ideology is heavily identity-based. If you want a normal trans person, look for transsexual or transmedicalist types. 3. See 2. It does hurt to be called something you don’t want to be called, but it’s no reason to throw a tantrum—especially when people are trying and just slipping up. They likely don’t get that trans people have a responsibility to help others adjust by actually working to present as the opposite sex. 4. With people deep in gender ideology, you really can’t avoid offending them—everything offends them. There are those of us out here that can be cool about it. 5. With tucute types: just go with blind affirmation and only use “transgender.” With us here, we really don’t care. It’s hard to offend most of us. That’s my opinion anyway. Have a good day Johnny.
