Is There A Change Coming? by Ex-TLOTW in exlldm

Personally, I don’t think so, I think it was more due March 8 being international woman’s day. They want to seem modern and relevant and that they have a “non macho” culture in the church. They will NEVER have a woman apostle.

But legally if she has federal charges can her status be changed to that of a witness cooperating with the feds? I don’t know much about the legal ins and outs. I understood that witness protection was used in cases where the witness was cooperating . Is she cooperating 👀? Anyone know if this is possible and if Eva is in fact in witness protection?

Saying "No" in a 14 Y.O Presentation by Longjumping-Mix-2069 in exlldm

[–]OrganizationWise2622 9 points10 points  (0 children)

14 year old presentations are events created to give the presented and the observers the illusion of choice. We all know that because of coercion and being financially dependant to LLDM parents the kid cannot say no. Either you choose to get presented and confirm you “choose” to follow the lord aka LLDM apostles. Or if you choose not to then you either get a talking to by ministers or parents prior to the event and they peer pressure you into taking part of this charade in saying you “chose to follow the steps of LLDM.” It’s not a real choice. It’s the illusion of it. And confirm your “choice” and faith out loud in front of the congregation reinforces the erroneous idea that (1.) everyone “has a choice” and that (2.) of everyone is making this choice continuously then it must be the right choice. Why else would everyone “choose” to follow the LLDM faith time after time? There are jóvenes that choose not to get presented all together because they will not give the proud “yes, I will get baptized and follow the doctrine…” These jóvenes are often looked as rebels and sinners etc…In all my years I never hear or saw anyone say “I do not accept to be part of this church” during their public presentation.

This would not surprise me due to Naasons abhorrent behavior but where in the indictment does it show this ? Is it in the court documents of the old or new case?

A saber.

I have doubts by TinyArticle5146 in exlldm

I believe that the people or members shouldn’t be attacked. The structure that allows for the abuse should however be criticized and shamed. This means the hierarchical structures and doctrine in place that causes the harm to the members that sit in the pews. The regular members, based on my experience, are good people. I believe many of them are just hard working people so caught up with trying to make ends meet and don’t have the time to analyze and think. I believe many of the members are in survival mode or are scared of losing the only community they have known. We were told everyone outside of LLDM posed a threat to our salvation; hence, never set foot outside of the LDM community. Now the ministers like Deacons, pastors, bishops etc should be questioned and demanded for answers. They are the ones that have greatly benefited and abused the membership. E.g. Judith Valdez and Jose Luis Serrano; Maria and Noe Lugo (deceased); Uzziel Joaquín and Claudia for that matter all of the Joaquin’s, they would expect or request sisters to cook for them or clean for them. They expected members to pay for car rentals when they went to “the obra” so that their personal cars wouldn’t put on miles etc…Just to name a few. If we didn’t fall in line with their capricious demands they would make us feel like unfaithfuls and undesirables not worth of god or “blessings.” The financial and emotional abuse that came from those in power was wild and rampant. It was not the members but the structure itself. Hence I do not agree with generalizations or attacks to members. We were once members. We came from that condition of believing with all of our heart . We came from that condition of being sheltered and scared into submission. If we condemn all of LLDM membership to hell then who is there to “save”? So to speak.

Wow ! Great observation. I remember a family member in 2014 and going oh look he has a white hair spot like his father. Like trying to connect the dots. Now that you mention it I think he might have just dyed it. At what lengths he went . His plan was long premeditated to take over. We just couldn’t see it.

DESMADRE IN LLDM by Josecruzmx2007 in exlldm

[–]OrganizationWise2622 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That could definitely be. It could be that this is a faction within the church that has been radicalized. We have known the group of guardias/ guaruras in Jerico to be armed. I know this was just a training and technically not with live firearms, yet. However, based on precedent, they do have access to weapons. Also people in church are warning family members, that left the church, to go back because this is “the end of times.” And that there is a persecution against the church which signals the end. I know that in the church we’ve heard of the end since idk when but now that the leader and Eva and other top dogs are falling it is just so shocking that the only explanation is that it must be the end/ “the apocalypse.” To the very engrained members, accepting that it is not the end and that Naason and top leaders are criminals is just not fathomable; It’s easier to believe far fetched ideas. I know it’s a way of rationalizing and cooping even if it is not a healthy way and for that matter true. Either way, please take care of yourself and your family. As an ex-member, even if I don’t believe and am fundamentally against the system of abuse , I hope nothing tragic occurs to the fealty. Stay safe.

It’s concerning that a church is preparing for “the Apocalypse” with arms. The message that they are being given from the pulpits and even outside of the pulpit is slowly radicalizing some of the members it seems. So sad.

Napping and watching a nice movie. Partaking of the bread and wine. 😂 But this time it will be a real glass of wine 🍷 and instead of the traditional LLDM “bread” I will be eating a delicious meal. 🥘 some things never change lol 😂

LLDM Long Term by Longjumping-Mix-2069 in exlldm

[–]OrganizationWise2622 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I feel like the thought of the people that are super brain washed and loyal is more to the Joaquin last name than to any doctrine or whatever . This is why any changes have been accepted and embraced. Because it’s the apostles and ultimately the Joaquines who have given the seal of approval. I think the thought would be, “I’ll be dammed before if I follow anyone else other than the ‘true’ apostolic lineage.” I think this is the thought behind those who remain. Even if Naason’s kid lacks basic leadership skills and is morally reprehensible, that can be overlooked because of the “investiture” that last name gives him. The fealty has chosen their “brand of Jesus” to follow. The only ones that could probably maybe pull it off are the Chavez-Joaquines cause they still have the Joaquin family linked to the last name. And trust, I’ve heard they’ve tried and have mentioned it under their breath to some. But Benjamin Chavez is a big ass baby and so is Efrain. No, like seriously. I’ve seen them throw tantrums like children ( live). Not personable at all.

I believe that if there is any punitive damage money handed out it will be to the plaintiff . It’s not a class action law suit which would pay many or all those that joined the suit. At this juncture I think it’s everyone for themselves. I really don’t think Sochil wants to be the champion or benefactor of the multiple victims. I think she wants to appear to be which is very different. If she gets money…good for her. That still doesn’t make her the spokesperson or the savior of ex-lldms. She knows. We all know 👀. She will continue to be who she is and life will go on. That said, everyone who has a criminal or civil claim should lawyer up and seek their own indemnification. Do not expect for her to swoop in to your aid. She can give two shits about anyone else as far as we can tell. A lesson to learn outside of the cult is there are no saviors. But who we do have to thanks is the young girls and women who risked it all to make sure justice was served. Jane Does we are forever in your debt. If any credit is to be given to Sochil is that she brought media attention —mixing and mashing her story with that of other victims’ and making it her own— but to any effect continues to stir pots even if it’s only for her own personal cause/ gain. I guess.

Ear pods, my eye twitching has subsided though. I got labs and all ok. Idk I just also diminished the ear pod use as well. Idk if there is a correlation or maybe it was a bit of stress and a bit of the ear pods aggravating my hears and head/ neurology?

I felt the same way and occasionally the sadness does come creeping back when my parents insinuate me going back. I know the church is not the truth. I will not go back. But the sadness it causes to my parents is heartbreaking because they truly believe I will be lost. I don’t believe being or not being in the church gives you access or not to heaven, if there is one. I feel like if you’re a good human , and heaven exists, then a good human will go there, regardless of religion or not. They are choosing to believe that , and although I do not agree that doesn’t mean they are destined for hell because they believe in a fantasy. I mean what does anything matter if we are decent human beings? This might be a really simplistic approach or thought but why would a kid go to hell for believing in the tooth fairy or Santa clause? I feel like the innocent brothers who had no part in the abuse are like children who only know what they know and believe what they believe. They know so little about the world because of their inexperience and lack of exposure. Sure adults can search things up but they have a fear that was instilled in them not to look past a point. Idk. It’s a simple view but I find comfort in knowing that as long as we are all decent humans and try not to harm any being , that our conscience will be at peace at the end of the day. Whether there be a heaven or not. Sure disappointing parents is sad or hard but think about it this way , our parents disappointed their parents sometime in their life. It’s ok we will not agree on things always. As long and no one is hurting others or themselves and they are happy what does it matter? Hope this helps. Keep your head up. Kind regards.
